The property at 1530 Lewis St., Camden, SC 29020 is abandoned due to Cairns Law Firm fraudently taking the signature page that my mom and I signed that had ******* ******* as survivorship on the deed and putting our signature page on a deed with just my brother's name on it and filing that with Kershaw County Courts. , ******* *******, along with my nephew and step-niece and nephew were forced to move to another because the septic tank (among other things) needed repairing but because the deed is not showing her name, she could not get anything done. In October of 2020, my mother, Hattie M. ******* and I sat in the law office of Cairns Law Firm, along with my brother, and his fiance ******* and we signed over the Quit Claim Deed to my brother, ******* **** AND ******* ******* who at that time was his fiance. However, unbeknownst to me and my mother, my brother along with the law firm removed *******'s name as survivorship and only filed the deed at Kershaw County courthouse with my brother's name on it. We did not find this out until after he passed away (he had heart issues) and ******* needed to get work done on the home. The home is actually rightfully hers, but she has had to uproot her children and move to NJ. I am now paying the mortgage on an abandoned home all because of Cairns Law Firm. This has been very difficult on me, ******* and the children. This has caused undue hardship on us and my niece and nephews are now living in a bad neighborhood and going through hardships. Losing my brother, *******'s fiance and the children losing their dad was already enough, but this needs to be rectified. They know what they did, but yet they won't fix it and have tried to deny. My mother and I ONLY signed the Quit Claim Deed BECAUSE *******'s name was on it as survivorship, because she has the children but also because we knew my brother was sickly and had already coded on the hospital table the year before we signed the deed over to them. Please help!!

Attached is the deed that was signed by Ms. ****** aka ****** and Ms. ******* and was recorded at the courthouse

Ms. ****** was not and is not a client

Mr **** was my client - the deed signed by Ms. ***** was recorded and is attached - no pages were ever swapped out

Never were pages changed or any fraud done by my office.

What Ms. ****** has attached was a deed that would have been signed by ******* ****.

I cannot divulge attorney client discussions.

Her story is impossible with what she has provided.  It is unfortunate that Mr. **** did not do any estate planning - that would have solved this whole problem.

The other solution would have been a probate of the assets of Mr. ****.  Maybe not a perfect solution but what has transpired is none of my doing.
