BEWARE! Worse experience EVER! Do not even consider this place at all. I am an experienced rider, ****************************************************************************************** the sand dunes. Safety is NOT their priority. We were all experienced riders and I took my exchange student to Newport and thought an ocean trail ride would be amazing, absolutely the most awful experience ever. They dont have separate trails like most well run places. In fact the horses are all on a street with cars coming and going. They proceeded to bring us by construction sites and spring cleanups happening which startled the horses. Thankfully my horse bucked me off in the sand dunes, otherwise if it was the street the outcome wouldve been worse. I am pretty badly bruised and will be seeing my doctor in the morning as I have pelvic, neck and back pain. I was thankful that none of the others horses followed my wild horse who by the way was rescued by animal control. ***** was running wild and unstoppable. This horse couldve trampled people on the beach as it was running wild. The whole situation was a freak show and this place needs to be shutdown immediately. The guide could not handle the situation at all. She was not experienced and my group told me that she never got back on her horse after my incident. The owner came to pick me up but she didnt want to hear what happened. I was immediately given back my money, which by the way they only take cash. DO NOT GIVE THIS FARM one *****. Please do not put yourself or your child of any age on any of these horses. They told us two of their main horses just died and the ladies tacking the horses couldnt even do it properly. My exchange student and her friend did it because the lady working there was doing it wrong. When they came to get my horse no one would get on it and ride, instead the worker walked back with the horse.
