  GovAssist, LLC is a scam. Their website is tactfully set up so it leads you to believe it is a US Government web site. Dont fall for it and read all the buried disclaimers. You are paying $215.99 to receive a passport kit where Gov ****** sends you back the form, a form you can fill out on the US Government site for free, they include a pre paid mailing envelope, and expect you to still write a check to pay for your passport. The website is very deceptive in hiding the disclaimer of the fee the consumer pays to GovAssist and what the consumer is expect to pay to the US Government. I pretty much paid $216 for a **** postage paid mailing envelope.I requested a refund, but the refund policy is very restrictive and you are locked in once you have submitted your form and fee. Attempting to get customer service leads you down a bunny trail of unanswered calls, not returned voicemails requests, and e-mail responses that are robot responses with an AI generated photo of your customer service representative. Dont fall for this scam website as I so naively did!

  Its a third party, who acts as an intermediary to help you through the process; make sure to make as many questions as you can, but specially to read their policies and legal terms, before you pay. I needed to renew my passport, so I completed the online questionary and placed a $245.99 credit card payment; a few days later, I received an email letting me know that my passport kit was on the way; when it was delivered and opened, there were some instructions, the application with the picture, a prepaid envelope and a pen. The instructions requested me to sign the application, and send it by mail, with my old passport and a money order or check for $160. Basically, I paid them $245.99 to fill and print the application, print and attach the picture, a prepaid envelope and a pen; but not the passport book or the passport card. I was basically legally SCAMMED! They do not answer the phone (theres an answer machine), when you receive the envelope, they stop answering the WhatsApp messages and the emails, the address on their website is fake, and the one as a remittance in the envelope is also fake. ??

  This company is a scam. They will charge you $200+ to fill out the US passport application you can get for free online and have you drop it off at **** with the government fee for the passport renewal (an additional $130).

  Scam! Paid the same cost of a passport just for an application I could complete for free from the ACTUAL government website. The customer service *** on the phone told me I was paying for their services. When I asked why the fee was equal to the cost Id have to actually pay at a passport service location and I was being charged double, suddenly there was another person I had to talk to who was not in office, leave a message for a call back. They did not provide any services and now have ahold of all important personal info. DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE

  This website is set up to look like its government approved or it is the government, but it is not. All they will do for you is fill out the form which is a very easy form and then mail it back to you so you can mail it to the state department Theres no way looking at the website that you would think thats all theyre going to do The photo you will load up will be unusable. Youll have to get your own photo again. When you complain, they will give you a bit of a refund is very common. Everyone complains about the same thing but they wont keep $150. This is for a form that it will take you 90 seconds to fill out yourself.

  These people are crooks They pretend to be working for the us government and there just a travel agency making money off people that learn too late. I have already contacted my bank to dispute the charges after receiving the application for my passport I could have went to my local post-office to get an application and filled it out myself. Why would I want to pay $153 to have them fill it out for me , only to have them send it back to me missing half the information I submitted in the first place. People beware dont do business with these agency.

  Do not fall for this scam. The fee they charge you is not for a passport renewal. It is just to send you a form you can fill out and print out yourself from the **** website. If you have given your details to this company you should probably get an identity theft projection monitoring service if you don't already have one.

  Thinking we were on the US Passport portal. We paid to get an expedited passport for a job opportunity. They charged us the exact amount it cost to get a passport. Every step of the process is intended to make you think this is part of legit government process. After almost 3 weeks we get an envelope with our printed application and a cover letter telling us to go to the post office and apply and pay the $220 all over again. So, to be clear, we paid $220 for them to print off our application and mail it to us from ***********! I was hung up on when I called the customer service number, when we received our passport kit in the mail. They like to respond to these complaints by responding with: We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on your experience. Were sorry to hear that we fell short of these expectations. They do the same copy and paste response all over the internet. There are bad businesss and then there are crooks. This is not a business. Hopefully these people are brought to Justice and made to pay for defrauding people out of their money.
