This company is deceitful. They cancelled my contract , gave less than 5 hours to remove my property after reporting damage to my property to the manager. Instead of helping with a claim they decided to confiscate my property to hide they damages. No evedence no Inshurance claim. This was second time my property was damaged because of impossibly tight parking. Also know refund on paid up account and told by Police it was a corporate " high paying property tax business " they refused to press criminal charges" damages well over $20,000 just in lost property."

The lease that was signed by you on April 15, 2022, clearly lists all rules and regulations of the property. We were made aware of the damage to your RV and the Property Manager let you know that you needed to file a report with the police. We are unable to give out any tenant information without police involvement (Section 37: Release of Information). A police report was never filed despite discussing the damage with you on February 19th, 2024. All of our properties are store at your own risk (Section 11: No Bailment) so for any damages, tenants must go through the insurance on their vehicles. This policy was explained to you.

The lease was terminated on Friday, February 23rd, 2024 at 11AM once it was realized that the Storage World property was still being inappropriately utilized by working in the RV (Section 3: Space & Section 8: Permitted and Prohibited Use of Space), staying on the property for long periods exceeding 24 hours (Section 8: Permitted and Prohibited Use of Space), leaving items outside of the RV on the property (Section 11: No Bailment), and blocking access to other tenant’s spaces for days (Section 42: Storage of Motor Vehicles/Boats).

This decision was not made lightly and was not made without reminding you of the policies/rules of our property as a method of resolving the issue first. The police assisted with your lease termination and arrived on the property to remove you and the RV according to our company policy. None of your items were confiscated/damaged during this process and you were even given until the next day to remove the RV with police escort.

Ultimately, Storage World had to take action to protect our property, our customers, and our staff.
