I used this company to have new roof installed. They cut heating wires so I cannot use them anymore. They installed a damaged skylight, and had to cut away some wall to install a skylight, and they left exposed wood. They also fixed my chimney, then a few days later it was leaking. I called the owner and he sent some workers out, they bent the flashing of the chimney and never fixed it. I left a review for this company on ******, and the the owner responded to the review stating they have no record of me, and I have the wrong company. This is a flat out lie. I have the contract and invoice for this company. The owner is trying to make it seem they are the perfect company, and are willing to lie about any review. After the owner responded to the review, i spoke with him on the phone and he asked me to remove the review because it make them look bad, and he will do free work for me. I do not accept bribes, and this owner and company should be ashamed of themselves. They need to be audited as well.Penn Ohio Roofing & Siding Group LLC

We apologize but unfortunately we are unable to help you because the contract clearly states that we do not provide warranties for insurance related cover perils such as the weight of ************. We would gladly help you repair any damage done from the ************ building up. We also offered to install heating cables free of charge. Thank you and have a blessed day.Review fromSally B

This company is not at all experienced with rubber roofs or chimney flashing repairs. They were called to my home for patching tears in rubber, and applied cold tar patches. They convinced me that my chimney flashing was faulty and claimed expertise at reparing/replacing. The results of their work left me with a torn up roof and a ruined ceiling. ABSOLUTELY A NIGHTMARE !!!!Penn Ohio Roofing & Siding Group LLC

I contacted this company to do a wind damage estimate on my relatives property. An estimator came and told me that the that there needed to be a replacement of approximately 50 shingles and the re- hanging of a 10-foot section of gutter. He gave me a written estimate for the repairs and a few days later came over and actually did the repairs. I was not present when the repairs were done. I responded to the location and met the estimator at the repair site. I could see that approximately 10 shingles in a line we're done on one side of the roof and the had been rehung. I asked if he would go on the roof and give me a picture of the repairs of the flat section of the roof that you could not see from the street level. He refused. He then told me that he had actually only replaced approximately 12 new shingles on the entire roof and not the 50 that was originally estimated. I had no problem with that and I asked him if he is going to adjust the price accordingly because of the smaller number of shingles replaced. He told me no and that the price was still the same. Without getting into an argument with this gentleman I realized it it was my fault for not getting an accurate itemized breakdown of the estimate and a full cost of everything that was to be done I just had a a statement and a figure on the estimation sheet which I signed. I paid the man his money and he left. It's obvious that this man is not part of the Better Business Bureau accreditation for a good reason and I would not under any circumstances recommend this company for anything now or in the future. I will certainly never call this company again.Penn Ohio Roofing & Siding Group LLC

***** no where on our contract does it state 50 shingles. It states 10 and we replaced 12. If you had 50 Shingles out on a roof you wouldve got a new roof and the repairs would cost more than a new roof. This is not true and we can provide the contract if needed thank youReview fromCarl G

A representative from this company came to my house to give an estimate for repairs that were needed on my roof. After inspection on the roof, he gave me an estimate and contract of the total being $2000 on 3/15/23. I signed the contract. Workers came back out 3/21/23 unannounced while I was at work. I had to leave work to come home. The worker showed me pictures and reported there was more damage than the original estimate/contract. This worker called his boss who was the original inspector and told him the damage had increased in cost. The boss lied and stated that he never went on the roof for the original inspection/estimate/contract, which he did. I agreed to the additional cost, total $3000 for the new estimate. No new contract was signed. They reported they would return the following week. They never returned. I reached out in early April, trying to give them time and they returned the phone call on April 4th, stating they would be out next week(again). They never showed. I called them 4/12 and 4/13 and neither call was returned. No phone calls for the rest of April and no work done on the roof. I decided I needed a new contractor since this one was not returning phone calls and not coming out when they said. May 5th I reached out to a new contractor and they came out. I signed a new contract with this contractor since Penn-Ohio Roofing had not gotten back to me or completed the work in the almost 2 months since the original contract was signed. On May 15th they called to state they would be out on May 16th to come out to do the roof after I hired a new contractor. He then threatened to sue because we had a contract. He then sent me a hand written docket sheet with misspelling, the wrong address, and no docket number He sent a picture of this via text message. I never received this "official" order in the mail. This company should be shut down trying to scam people when they don't show up for over month and don't answer their phone!

This is not true, the work was completed in full with photos provided while his wife was home. These customers did not want to pay for the work that was completed therefore we filed a civil suit against them and they were ordered to pay for the job that was completed in full thank youReview fromKevin M

Penn Ohio Roofing is a huge liability and a risk. They DO NOT honor warranty work, they do not know how to install shingles and, threaten customers after you leave a bad review. Total installation failure after only 5 years, we had the roof inspected 3 times since 2017. We are in contact with PA’s AG as well, working directly with ***** ******. The owner had to call the police on his own contractors in order to get them to leave my property because of a contract dispute, State and Local Police responded. Worst experience I have ever had owning a home. We initially requested a Metal Roof and they wrote us a contract for it but decided we were better off with Shingles instead. They can’t even write out a contract properly, which is a whole other issue. (Update 4-11-23) We had to have 3 Professional Roofing Companies inspect the roof. We need a FULL ROOF REPLACEMENT after just 5 years. Ireland Contracting, Shell Restoration and TDK Contracting via Erie Insurance. ALL 3 contractors concluded the roof WAS NOT installed properly in 2017. We initially requested a Metal Roof but got a real bad shingle job instead. Please contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General Consumer Protection if you have any issues with Penn Ohio Roofing and Contract ***** ****** at the AG’s office. Thank You **** ********* ***** ******** *******

Penn Ohio Roofing was an excellent company to deal with. I called for an estimate and they came within a few days. When I decided to have my roof done they were able to start the project in a week. They showed up on time did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Bottom line is they said what they were going to do and did what they said they would do!Penn Ohio Roofing & Siding Group LLC

In the summer of 2021 after some heavy rains my tile roof began leaking and I sought a roofer who did tile roofs. I put a query on ******* **** for a roofer who repaired tile roofs. One day a representative of Penn-Ohio Roofing came to my door and said he had seen our ******* **** posting and repaired tile roofs and since he was in the neighborhood stopped by. He examined the roof and said it was leaking around the skylight but that the roof appeared to be in good shape. He gave me an estimate of $7,985 for the repair and I signed it. Penn-Ohio proceeded to replace the skylight and do several other repairs and I paid him $7,985 I had one occasion for them to complete the task and after several calls their representative showed up and replaced a missing tile. May 6, 2022 was a day of very intense rainfall and I came home that `evening to discover that the roof was again leaking and interior plaster had fallen from the ceiling. I proceeded to call Penn-Ohio and left messages for **** *****, the representative with whom I had dealt with previously and with whom I had signed the contract. I also called several times to his cell phone but he never replied. Then about two weeks later ((June 17, 2022) he called and said he would come on that Saturday to look at the roof. . He never appeared nor called again. I decided that he was completely unreliable. Concerned about further damage from the leak and unable to contact Penn-Oho Roofing I called several roofing companies including ***** *******, a highly recommended firm. ***** representatives examined the roof and said the skylight was not the right one and had not been properly installed. They provided a bid to replace the skylight and to make necessary repairs for $5,650. Wanting to repair the roof and having lost trust in Penn-Ohio I signed the contract with ***** *******.Penn Ohio Roofing & Siding Group LLC

The salesman was very misleading and intentionally left items off the contract. The company then left the job partially done just to try to charge more to come back and finish the job. Avoid at all cost!Penn Ohio Roofing & Siding Group LLC

Hello ********** the contract is very clear and signed by yourself. We did the extra work for you at cost. After the job was completed you then wanted more work completed for free. You said you were right on finances and could only afford so much. That is why only half the roof was completed. We also gave you a price on additional work. We completed the job in full and you paid in full. You also said that the job was flaking and we inspected it and there is no signs of flaking anywhere. Your negative review is misleading and we will still warranty your roof with no issues. Thank you and God bless
