On July 11th 2018, I cancelled my account with Blue Ridge. I Insured the equipment was returned and paid the billed in full, cancelling my account. Apparently they did not record this and reported me to collections. I found the bill sent it to the collection company. The collection company stated they could not do anything since Blue Ridge did not respond to them. I called Blue Ridge and sent them a copy of the paid in full receipt to them. Blue Ridge admitted they made an error and did not credit the returned equipment but that I still owed the remainder of the month ($60.10) since they reconnected the internet at the street pole on the 13th. I asked why they did,since I cancelled and I was not living there. They said someone called to reconnect the service. They can not tell me who did this, just that it had to be me since they required a security question to reconnect. This is truely another mistake on their part which they refuse to acknowledge and will not remove my name as bad debt until I pay the balance. I clearly do not owe this and they are being dishonest and trying to cover a mistake on their part. I gave them every opportunity to admit their error and they will not. What they didnt realize before they started lying to me is that there is absolutely no way I called since I was admitted to the hospital with a serious illness and was unable to do anything especially make calls. They told me if I want my name removed from debt to make a police report, which is ridiculous. I do not owe this company any more money. They are being dishonest . I want my name cleared and for Blue Ridge to acknowledge their mistakes.

Every night when high traffic I loose my internet. BRC cable want to send techs or blame.my equipment but as other people have stated they are full of Sh*t. They do not have the bandwidth and blame everyone else. But you are expected to pay their bill for horrible service that they then lie about!! Like the rest of the poor soles on here that are subject to their monopoly I hate the company and their lies. I would switch to anything else if I had any choice. Remember it's not your equipment it's their terrible service!
