I paid for two nights and was told repeatedly I would stay 2 nights for $110!! I checked in around 2:30am and was tired from driving all day and night! I struggled to find a place and this was a last resort for a late night checkin. My wife called and the lady, ***, at the front desk, stated to her $110 for TWO nights, she again stated I had to stay until Monday morning and again she states yes $110 and if she needs her to work with me on that she can!! My wife told her I would be there in 15 mins and she said okay. I arrive and my wife is on call the entire time. She asks me how many nights I state, Monday morning I will check out. She says okay and she sends someone to check if the ** is working in 229. The person goes to check and says it's good. So I pay and she sends me to the room. The room was reasonable but the bed was slept in and then remade. So calls the front desk and the housekeeper comes about 30 mins later. She insisted that she make the bed and seemed to be hopped up on drugs. She makes the bed for 30 mins and cleans around the room a bit and finally leaves. So then I finally get to sleep. The next day another lady comes with an attitude telling me, I was supposed to be checked out today so I can leave or pay another night. We tell her no that's not what the lady said, she said $110 for two nights. So we tell her to call the lady from last night. She just so happens to be 'no longer working there' last night was her last night. So *** just so happens to have scammed me on her last night. So the dayshift front desk lady (never got her name, but she willingly gave ***'s ) called the police. And how quickly the officer came, it's almost like they have a little common practice going on. I want my $50 back. There's no way anyone would pay $100 to stay here and she lied to get me to stay. I was sleepy and didn't pay attention to the dates but the lady told me Monday morning and I know there are cameras there. Listen to them so that you can refund me.

Sub: Response to Customer Complaint ID # ********

    Dear Madam,

I was shocked when you brought to my notice about the customer complaint by Mr. ********************* guest checked in the 2rd floor which was recently renovated. He was extremely angry and has attitude with the front desk. The front desk agent offer her best availability rate $100 + Tax as a room rate for one night not for two nights. She checked in by 2.30 Am mean for the night of June 22 ***** and she supposed to checked out June 23, 2024. Guest want to stay till June ******* which considered a two nights. She is making a false claim that front desk offer her $ !00 for two nights. Is it logic to have two nights at hotel in June which is a  hot season with $100 while we are only 17 miles away from ************ and the hotel price in this area is at least $ 350 per night. They threaten the front desk that they will post a bad review everywhere and they are going to complain to The better Business Bureau if we dont gave them extra free night.

I appreciate the BBBs role in mediating this case for us and I can assure you of my full co-operation and assistance in case you need my help. Please feel free to contact me anytime at the property.

    Thanking you with warm regards,

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

     Complaint: 21890354

I am rejecting this response because:
Everything in the response was a lie. They are not honest people at all. The lady said $110 for two nights. If you look online you will see most of the motels are $50-$70 a night. The only reason I stayed here is because it was late and most of the cheaper rooms were already booked. When I was lied to and made to leave a room I booked for two nights because of these dishonest people, my wife booked a room 4 mins down the road for $54. Please be honest for once and refund for the second night.

    Regards,

This is the receipt for the room I had to book when I was made to leave by the police, because of these dishonest people. I don't have money to be ripped off.
