This company has been very unprofessional from day one. They mistreat residents, and the staff never responds well to any concerns or issues. We have been dealing with them since my husband's passing back in May for a refund since he was not there for the entire term that was paid for, and we have yet to receive a refund. My son-in-law reaches out to them daily with no response. They told us on August 1st, the person handling this is no long there and they assured him a check would be sent out that day, the person we spoke to that day was a woman named ******. Since that day, she has not returned any calls. The refund was supposed to be 6-8 weeks from passing, but that has long since come and gone. This company mistreats elderly patients in their care and will be reported for it. Now they are not responsive and I still don't have my money back.

My mother and I toured this facility to look at independent living options on 2/26. The tour guide was excellent and my mom was excited as she knew that she had the buy in money and could afford the monthly costs. We were informed that another party was interested in the property that would be available on 6/1 so that we needed to deposit $10,000. My mom was so excited that night that I called the next day to let ****** know that we wanted to make a deposit. She said the place was all hers and that she only needed to complete a residential application and once she met with "corporate," we would handle the deposit. She sent a follow up email after we completed the application asking how much my mom would net after the sale of her home. I told her around $20,000. I did not hear back from ****** after Wednesday despite multiple emails and calls to see if she needed anything else. I received a marketing email on 3/3 that listed my mom's place as being available on 6/1 and I emailed ****** to see if this was an oversight. No response on Monday, 3/4 and I called multiple times and emailed multiple times. On 3/5 my mother and I received an email that stated that the corporate office could not approve my mom's application because she was not a viable candidate due to the fact that she would not have at least $150,000 in investments/assets after the sale of her home. At no point during our conversation and nowhere in any of the literature we were sent does it say that a resident needs $150,000 in assets. I specifically asked ****** what would happen if my mom required more intense care after her $119,000 buy-in was amortized after 50 months. She said that at that point benevolent care would take over. ****** could not produce any documentation to this effect and did say that she should have mentioned this at our meeting. My mom paid $600 after our visit to Aid and Assistance to have the VA pension application she would receive by living here the same day as the visit.
