      Company advertised 0% financing for 2 years for completion of our two bath remodels. When completing the initial credit check, information was entered incorrectly and sent to wrong creditor said the salesman. We waited 12 weeks for install and planned to pay out of pocket. Gave an over $6k down payment. A week before install, we asked to run financing again for the 0% and to run it with my husband jointly as my mother had brain cancer and we needed to use the funds for other things to get my parents moved into our home. We were told we were approved and everything was fine. Now we get bills from synchrony bank and are being assessed 12%APY for the cost of the install which was just under $12,500 after the $6k deposit. We have sent emails to Bath Fitter aka Bath Saver and no one has responded to us. Now the job is costing us over $3k more over 24 months due to interest.

      ************* our sales manager has spoken to ************** on his concerns. This is primarily a finance concern because of a credit profile that didn't qualify for special terms.  Apparently when his application was submitted a "*" was used on his wife's name instead of "*”. An approval came thru that was reversed when the name went in properly spelled on new paperwork. It was explained that we are the manufacturer and not the bank, so finance decisions will be on the bank. It was suggested he could speak to the bank to see if there were any other finance programs they could offer that we don't have. ** thanked him for his feedback and made himself available for any other questions.

      I am rejecting this response because: The offer was made by Bath Fitter for the 0%. It was their error for incorrectly submitting the information for financing.

      The salesman told me i had all standard installation. Having just had hip replacement the doctor advised getting a shower. The salesman took my $2300 and ran. After he took the money he then said it was 4 to 6 months. After assuming I was being scammed I asked for the deposit back and they refused. They are preying on older folks and I want my deposit back

      our VP of sales made contact with the customer to resolve this issue personally. compensation was issued and the product was installed. The customer has agreed to withdraw the complaint.
