    On April 20th 2025 my vehicle a 2020 ***** Passport was involved in a motor vehicle accident causing damage to the body. I had then taken it to be repaired on 4/29/25 at the afore mentioned business. The repairs were finished 5/29/25 and I was able to retrieve the car. Afterwards when I attempted to unlock and remote start my vehicle I had noticed that they were not functioning whereas before I had taken the vehicle to them they were in perfect working order. I called the business and informed them of the problem to which they had responded to by advising me to bring my vehicle in for further inspection. I returned with my vehicle June the 28th and they attempted to resolve the problem. They were not able to resolve the problem and did not offer any other help or further action to resolve the issue.

    Good afternoon,

    We completed repairs for ******************** It was cosmetic damage to the driver's side of the vehicle. The front door was replaced and the rear door was repaired. After receiving his vehicle back, his key fob does work and operate. The customer states there are two functions that are not working after the repairs, which are the remote start and second key unlock setting. The door lock and unlock work. We had him come in to check connections and perform a hard restart on the system. We attempted to adjust settings in the infotainment. We were unable to resolve the issue.

    We informed the customer it would likely require diagnostics from the dealer. If they find something in relation to the claim, we would submit it back to the insurance company. We do not handle vehicle software issues. The customer has not taken his vehicle to the dealer for an assessment.

    We have reached out to have him drop his vehicle off for a day to further diagnose with our software.
