The Tax Lady is excellent! When I switched from working full-time to working self employed, I had a million questions. She was with me every step of the way, always available to answer questions and offer advice. It's true, she's often insanely busy! But she makes time for you, too, when she can.

Thank you so much *****. I am glad that I was able to ease your transition into self employment. I am always here for any questions or guidance that you may have.

This business is terrible. I left a negative review because she took months to do my taxes last year. Now this year a week before tax season I get a letter that says she doesn't want to do business with me anymore because of that review a week before tax season. Terrible business practice. She wasn't even allowing anyone in her office. Oh and your not allowed to use perfume or cologne before you pick up your taxes (at a drive thru) because she "doesn't like smells".

Before I prepared client packets for mailing this year, I evaluate last year's client complaints. At this time I decided that it was best to disengage those who were not happy. **************** was one of those clients that I disengage with. 2021 we lost two local preparers to COVID and two to retirement so we received many of their clients. Our workload was heavier than expected so wait times were a bit longer. **************** went out on social media and complained that it was taking me too long to do his return. He complained to my staff that he wasn't able to take vacation due to the length of time it took to prepare his taxes. I felt that it was in both interest to release him to find another preparer this season. Due to my autoimmune disease I asked clients to refrain from wearing after shave or perfume when they had appointments with me. Once COVID hit, I stopped sitting with clients due to possible exposure to colds, flu and of course COVID. The last comment of his review is an over exaggeration regarding aftershave and our drive up window, it is only when I had sit down appointments we asked that no perfume or aftershave be worn. I hope he fines someone he is comfortable with to prepare his return going forward.
