              In 2021, we had Poseidon out to stabilize our kitchen addition foundation and to put in a French drain system in the basement. We paid approximately $18,000 for these combined services. On their recommendation, they installed a jack system to boost our kitchen addition foundation and keep it from sinking further. However, in fall 2023 we had a contractor out to re-side our house who pointed out that the kitchen was not attached to the foundation at all, and so the jacks that were installed are effectively boosting nothing. Because the original kitchen addition foundation was not deep enough (too shallow), the correct solution would have been to replace the original foundation entirely, which is the action we are following up on. We wanted to call Poseidon about why they recommended using jacks to support an inadequate foundation, and just learned that they are no longer in business. There is currently a substantial gap between one corner of the kitchen and the “improved” foundation, as supported by the installed jack system.

              ******* * Extremely disappointed with the work that was done to waterproof my basement. I was assured prior to them even starting the work that my basement would be dry when they were finished in order for me to finish the basement. Within a month of having the work done, it was still leaking and was taking on more water than before. I spoke to the owner and he stated that it takes some time for the water to learn its new path. I have since had them come out 3 more times as it is still leaking. They resealed it about a month ago and over the weekend there was more water coming in. It has been over a year now and they have not stood by their work and done the job that I paid a ton for. Extremely disappointed to say the least.

              We are sorry that you are disappointed with the work that was done. When we perform inspections we not only go off visible issues, but what the homeowner communicates to us what their main concerns are. We did go back to service this homeowner 3 times, and we are currently scheduled to go out and service again. So to state we do not stand behind our work is not a true statement. Considering the amount of water coming in, we have several solutions to rectify this on our next appointment. To add that we tried to schedule to be out tomorrow, but had to schedule out due to the request of your husband to accommodate his work schedule. Each time you have called in, you have been taken care of in a professional manner, and your concerns taken whole heartedly. Thank you for your review *******, as all feedback is used to make us better.

              Yes you have come out several times for service is a fair statement but after the second time caulking didnt work, one would think that a different solution would have been attempted but on the third visit, the same service was provided and it remains leaking. Please understand that after a year of going through this, Im at my ends with the problem as we intended on finishing the basement a long time ago to accommodate a home office which I still cant do. There should have been other things attempted to fix this problem after numerous calls. I can agree that your staff have always been friendly and humorous but I paid for a job over a year ago and its not resolved. Would you accept this kind of work in your own home?
