      We were approached by crew for M & M Tree & Mulch who said they were working in this area and could trim dead branches from trees in front of house. Then they claimed that our oak tree was compromised and had to come down. They had about 1/3 to 1/2 of tree down with some logs cut up and most left on lawn. Said they would be back to finish the job but never come back. They said we had to pay cash up front which we did (yes I can’t believe we were that stupid). Found out later that others in town had also been scammed by this group.

      Hi, I would have been more than happy to resolve your issue if it’s legitimate! You haven’t contacted me regarding anything like this at all! You left out multiple details as we have 6 different crews so I would need to narrow down the name of the person you’re saying did this!       Unfortunately I was not in the country when this all happened. They approached my wife and said they were working in the area and could remove some dead limbs from our trees. Then said that our large oak tree in front of our house was diseased and needed to come down. Said they would have to be paid in cash. Removed part of the tree, left logs is my side yard, then said they had to run an errand was would be back. They never showed up again. The only company info they left was the owners business card. I had to pay a local tree company to finish the job. We ended up paying the group over $4500 in cash.

      I apologize if anything happened that you felt like shouldn’t happen. I’m sure there’s a little more to this situation though. I would have been happy to take a call from you which I have yet to receive, that way we could have tried to resolve the issue. Our company gives multiple different pricing options, some are for wood to stay and some are a packaged deal for wood to be removed. I still don’t know which of the crews you’re referring to as it’s been a few weeks. But, I also don’t understand why someone would have been handed money if the job wasn’t complete.

      I got a knock on the door about quoting tree removal in my yard. ***** who must be the project manager took me through the yard and we agreed on a price of $9500. After the project started he got in trouble for leaving all of the chopped wood on the street which as a tree contractor he should e known not to do. The forestry department had to come and realized one of the trees he was cutting down was technically on city property so he got fined $500. We ended up paying $12500 for the job because he had to remove the stump of the tree he cut down. He cut a big pine in the backyard down which made 4 huge holes in my backyard and didn't level it so there is a huge mound in the middle of my back yard. We agreed to have the bushes around the stump removed and the holes filled for $1800 of that $12500. We paid in full and he hasn't come back after attempting to contact him over and over.

      I RECIEVED A KNOCK ON MY DOOR, IT WAS M&M MULCH ( OWNER ****** *****) THEY WERE FROM OUT OF THE STATE OF OHIO, AND, IM IN KENTUCKY, ITS ABOUT 75 MILE DISTANCE. WHEN THEY WERE AT MY DOOR THEY WERE ASKING ME IF I NEEDED ANY TREE SERVICES COMPLETED, I SAID YES, WE AGREED ON $1,500.00. AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AT THAT EXACT TIME, I ASKED IF THEY COULD ALSO REMOVE A TREE STUMP I HAD THEY AGREED FOR AN ADDITION $500, THEY THEN SAID THEY WOULD RETURN IN A COUPLE DAYS TO REMOVE THE STUMP. I PAID A TOTAL OF $2,000 THAT DAY YET THEY HAVE YET TO RETURN, I HAVE CALLED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES AND THE REFUSE COMMUNICATION, I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND FEEL THEY GO THE BEST OF ME.
