1 starI placed an order for a spa cover on February 13, 2025 and made two subsequent phone calls to the company to check on my order. I was told that everything was in order and it would take 8 to 12 weeks for the cover to arrive. However, on March 14, 2025 because of POOR customer service and INCOMPETENT delivery personnel, my order was cancelled. The reason for the cancellation as quoted from their email to me, "we are not dispatching our truck to that address due to what we believe to be potential issues with accessibility." They did not once listen to the fact that my own double wide mobile home was delivered down this road, along with other deliveries that have been made to my home since. I will find another company to make my spa cover even if it costs more money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE / COMPANY!!!Review fromFrederick M

1 starDo not purchase anything from this place! I ordered a spa cover back in October 2024. I have been following up on the status. No updates besides, " oh is almost reasy". Their ignorant lying customers service reps keep on giving me the same copy and paste response. February 2025 is here, no updates, no tracking, but they charged my cc the money for the spa cover. I want my money back! I had enought of their lies and excuses. Shame on the BBB for having an A+ rating on these croocks! Thieves !Review fromAlex J

We were trying to decide where to buy a spa cover replacement from and talked to these guys at spa mart and they told us of high quality and usually fast turn around times. Later we see in fine print that they say 2-4 months to get your cover and should be faster in winter. Well we had thrown away our cover think it would be 2-3 weeks and we could have bought locally and chose these guys not knowing the huge wait time well it took the 5 months to get us a cover that wasn’t any thing custom . Order placed on 10/8/24. Order shipped on 1/13/25. Customer was quoted up to 14 weeks on 11/12/24 when he called in for status. Cover shipped in 14th week or a little over 3 months. Order did not take 5 months to receive. We were able to ship within the quoted lead time that was not only listed on our website but also confirmed when the customer contacted us.Review fromKenneth K

1 starSo I placed a order for a custom hot tub cover on 10/30. The order confirmation said 8-12 weeks ETA which i was ok with. I checked my account and the order of $630 was on hold for 3 days but I noticed the money never came out. Well yesterday 12/26 I get a email stating my order was cancelled. So I emailed customer a couple of times asking why is more order cancelled and i still want my cover. I even asked them to run the card again. They told me they would not. So I asked why was i not notified that my order was complete. They came back and said I got an invoice on 12/2 and notifications from *****l. Well i searched my email to find both of those statements was a lie. I also provided a phone number so why couldn't no one call me? I was hoping customer service would help resolve this and im sure ya have just thrown away custom cover. I was told by customer service in email i would need place a new order. Yea no thanks this pretty said resolution and customer service and terrible business pratice why would you put a hold on my account and not take out the money. 1 starI spent 1 hour on the phone with Phillip ordering a hot tub cover. Went through all the fields on the order page with him and verified the price at the end before purchase. He then calls me back and says that they can't honor the price and it was an additional $300. Asked to talk to his mgr. and a rude man name Scott came on and was blocking me from speaking with the owner. What kind of shady place is this? I'm glad I canceled the order.Review fromgary t

1 starUnethical business. No exact delivery time just giving you a lead time of 6-12 weeks. They want 300$ rush fee on top of 700$ order. That means they artificially delay delivery time, so you will be inclined to pay rush fee. They claim lead time can be slower in winter times, which is not true because they have said the same narrative over the phone when i called them in winter.It has been one month since order has been placed, yet they don't know when the delivery time is going to be. Also, they advertise free delivery on several places on the website, yet they have charged 150$ of delivery fee.Review fromBrian S

1 starDo not use SPA-MART. Had onne of the worst customer experiences with my order that was just cancelled on me. There had been no communication for 3 weeks since the original order was placed until I received an email saying my order had been confirmed and payment was made. After checking the site to find out where my order was it said pending payment. I filled out the contact us form asking where in the process my cover was and if it hadn't been "processed" I would need to cancel and buy somewhere else. I then received an email saying it was cancelled as requested. After calling what turned out to be a horrible customer service rep he argued semantics with me that processed meant being built vs being in the 6-12 week queue. Instead of offering up any kind of help or re-activating my order he basically told me tough **** and good luck. I would have been more than happy to continue the remaining time period left in my processed order, but instead nobody reached out and instead cancelled my order.Review fromB. G.

Don't buy from this company. They will take your $500+ item and just leave it in your yard. They don't deliver to your porch no matter how big your porch is. Their customer service has a lot to be desired as well when you contact them.Sonshine Covers, Inc.

The spa cover was left leaning against the side of Mr. ******* garage, not left laying in his yard. It appears that the cover fell over at some point. We sent our driver's delivery picture and attempted to contact Mr. ***** to discuss his concern. He has not responded.B. G.

Clearly the business is as good with its records as it is with deliveries. I spoke to ***** in customer support on 4/19. ***** told me it was my "prerogative" to post my experience online. ***** also informed me it was my "prerogative" to not order from the company again. When I order a $500+ product I expect it to be put in a place where it shouldn't fall over. It was put against the corner of my house standing up tall. Would you have delivered a TV in the same fashion? I'm just leaving my experience for others to determine if they would like their $500 thrown on the ground.Review fromTravis T.

5 starsI own a small property services business that services some of the vacation rental homes in my area. I had a customer who's hot tub cover had been ripped and a replacement was needed asap. I spent hours reading company reviews all over the internet, including this site, and decided upon Sonshine. I had placed an order for the cover and asked to expedite manufacturing and shipping. I did so on a Monday and had the cover in my hands on that Friday afternoon. The cover was well made and stitched, the material used was not of cheap quality and seems like it will last for years. I have ordered a total of 5 covers now and they have all been the same quality. Happy customers tend to not leave reviews, I made sure to go out of my way to leave this one.
