Was financing a vehicle (2014 ********** jetta SE) and had nothing but issues from the first month. I paid around $10,000.00 out of the over $14,000.00 they wanted for it. At the same time I've replaced some serious issues with my own money even after they refused to make it right and I still made payments. $500 a month is steep for a 10 year old car. I replaced a belt tensioner, fan regulator air resistor, all 4 tires because of valve stem and seal failures, fan unit for both the radiator and engine, oil pan drain seal, and the timing chain going bad, they tried quoting me $300 for a fan and another $250 to replace it. I replaced it and bought the unit cheaper. They now have the car returned to them because I couldn't keep up on payments and replaced things they certified from the get go. Things they should have inspected with a certified mechanic and a computer system. They made claims about my trade in claiming they lost money and that I didn't disclose things about my car, which I in fact did. ******* the owner was too fixated on taking my car and making me overpay for one of hers, to even listen to what I said. I've been honest from the start about everything and communicated any and all issues that have arisen with their car, just to get a run around from her and her staff.

I am very restricted in what I can say to this review. Here is what I can say: The car this person purchased was as-is, and did not have a warranty or service contract on it. Service contracts are available for purchase, however. He did not opt to do so. Yes, its 10 years old. When making a deal, the numbers are written out clearly by hand and they are agreed on prior to any paperwork being done. No one made him purchase from here and there are no surprises at the time of sale. if he feels he paid too much than that is what it is, a feeling. Our cars are inspected by our mechanic prior to being offered for sale. He doesn't have a crystal ball to know what random electrical part might fail in the weeks and months after the sale. Generally, when things like this happen I try to offer some accommodations. These are called goodwill repairs. There was not much goodwill left after dealing with the trade. He had, in fact, traded in a car with mechanical issues that he disclosed, but he not disclose the structural issues. The structural issues were severe enough that the trade was salvaged. I wish him luck in his future endeavors.
