2 starsDespite the "discounts", by the end of the job, I felt I had overpayed. I have a bucket of parts and pieces of metal I picked up from around our property. Over the carport there were small pieces used, and a poor cutting job around a beam, then gaps were filled with silicone. I would like to inspect the roof and drip edge to ensure there was no damage done. There's hardened silicone smeared and spilled on our $1200 backyard dining table. The lights on the backyard soffit corners were reinstalled incorrectly and now point into neighbour's yards. I can't adjust them myself. The job was started on the Friday, when they did the demolition. On Saturday they realized that the eight inch facia won't fit on our 10 inch facia boards. Their supplier is not open on Saturday, so we had to reschedule the job for Monday. This is time I'm supposed to be at work. They worked well after dark, and left a mess behind for me to clean up. They arrived in an unmarked van (no company identification) from ******. Both were immigrants from ***************** and had extremely limited English capabilities. I don't care where they're from, but I do care that they don't speak English. I'm disappointed that there was no company follow-up. The cheque was cashed quickly.

3 starsI thought the installer was very polite and skilled. We have not had much leaf "fall" so I will see how good a job the Leaf Filter does after this fall season. I expect that it will perform well. I spoke to a representative of your office this morning at your Ohio office about a substantial complaint. I read that I the warranty was to be "emailed to me." It was not emailed to me, only the original generic form. ****** told me that it is your firm policy not to put the customer's name and address on the warranty. I asked her to register my complaint as I paid over $7,000 for the job and I cannot even get the information I submitted on the warranty. I got a generic warranty (as you know). It has nothing to do with my promised warranty or confirm my personal purchase. The phone representative kept saying that you had my info. Therefore, I did not need confirmation of my purchase or a personalized warranty. This is a very poor business practice! I could never prove that I have a lifetime warranty. What happens if you go out of business, or your system is hacked. When I bought a house, car, or other larger items, I have been identified personally as appropriate in a clear, signed contract. In fact, your refusal to do the same is untrustworthy. Please email me assuring me that I have purchased the complete Leaf Filter package with a lifetime warranty, and a new buyer can have this warranty transferred to them. I firmly believe that this is the least you could do if your warranty is valid now and for the promised years to come.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starNot happy with installation In their brochure said work would done on ladders 4 people were walking all over my roof and in their brochure it said that the roof should never be disturbed to me the installation was very shabby Also the person doing the work never installed the system before by himself the leader wasn't on the roof with very muchLeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starWhen we decided to get gutter guards installed, we shopped around and liked the LeafFilter product. We signed an agreement, and they were installed later that day. A couple of years later, we had a hailstorm, called them up and they promptly came out to remove the system prior to the shingle and gutter work. Once the new gutters were installed, we called LeafFilter and they promptly reinstalled the system. The next year we had another hailstorm, we called and emailed the local office, but nothing was returned. Called corporate and they said a regional manager would call us, didn't happen. Finally got a hold of someone at corporate that contacted the local office who gave us a call the next day. We weren't told that there was going to be a $150 trip charge. We paid that for the inspection. We had told the local office that we needed the system removed as we were expecting the shingle work to begin soon. The tech said he was only told to do the inspection. He did say there was some damage and that an estimate would be sent out for insurance. We contacted the local office to get the estimate. Again, we did not hear back from them after repeated attempts. Contacted corporate again to get the system removed. Finally had a tech come out and remove the system. He said only one panel needed to be replaced. He said he would have the office to send out a revised estimate for insurance. This has been over a month ago that we have not received a new estimate from them after repeated attempts to contact them. LeafFilter is quick to get them installed and horrible if any service needs to be done. I'm sorry I went with them at this point and would not recommend.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starI called the *********************************** three times over the period of consecutive weeks. Each time, I was told I would receive a call back in 5 days. It has been 22 days since my first call and I still haven't received a call back from the local office. My Leaf Filters are sitting on the ground waiting to be repaired and re-installed after getting a new roof. The leaves around our house are about to fall. I wonder if Leaf Filter will call me and schedule a reinstall date before the leaves fall into my gutters. I have been very unhappy with the lack of customer service. No one from the local office has called even though they have promised to call back within 5 days three separate times. I would caution future and existing customers about *******************************LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starDeceptive advertising. I was told if leaves or pine needles got in the gutters, they would come out and clean them out. I have had these filters for 1 year. Sure, they told me they'll be happy to come out, but it is a $95 charge. They never mentioned that when I hired them. 1 starI was not pleased at all, because I feel like I was lied to. The agent said that three things would be done: the gutters would be cleaned, the gutters would be sealed; and the gutters on the front of the house would be realigned with new brackets inserted between existing brackets. Well, the contractor came to our house and, yes, he cleaned both the front and back gutters, but he said that they did not need resealing nor did the front gutters need to be realigned. The entire job took him barely an hour, if that. As a result, I paid $308 for someone to clean our gutters, which is ridiculous.LeafFilter Gutter Protection
