      l have been paying for this alarm service for 24 years with this company. I found out that they were having a communication problem in September 2024 at my home, so they sent out a technician. We found out that my house alarm was not working and that the phone line was working. He stated that he did not know why it was not communicating with the company. I shared with him that I changed telephone providers then he looked at the telephone set up and told me to call customer service and they would tell me how to move forward. So I asked him, if he could find out why my house alarm was not working. He told me that would be a separate service call. This company told me I needed to upgrade the three key pads in my house so I did. When the technician showed up on that call he tried to install smaller key pads on the walls which left holes in the walls so I would not purchase them without back plates to cover holes in the wall. That's why I did not notice the alarm on the house not working at that time. I called customer service and was told someone would get back to me. After a few more attempts to talk to customer service I was getting the run around. Then after reaching out again someone told me that their system was not working because I changed phone providers. I told them I changed providers in July 2024 and why am I'm just finding out in September 2024. They told me they would get back to me. I'm still dealing now, they said they sent me an electronic document in the mail to cancel service and I never got it. I called back about it and they doubled down on that story and also add that I opened the document and did not sign it which is not true. (A LYE). I had enough I don't think that I owe them for the service charge and any alarm services that I have not been getting. Can you help me and talk to these people please. For, Years I thought these people had my back, they don't care about my safety just money!

      Unreasonable and unfair prices. To replace a carbon monoxide detector which took “tech” less than 5 minutes they charged $287. I see the exact make and model is available online for $85. I was informed by the service department that the work HAD TO BE performed by their tech and I could not do it myself. They then charged me $145 ($60 mark up when you know they are buying in bulk and their cost is not $85) for the detector and 119 for the tech to come out and enter a six digit number in the alarm keypad. It took him less than one minute to do. Way over priced. I am disappointed because I would like to support a local company but not if this is how they do business. Also unrelated, they love to call in the early morning to wake me up to alert me about low battery alerts which is beyond annoying, clearly not an emergency, and could be addressed at anytime after 8 a.m.
