    On June 24th, I looked into the service provided by Ro. I wanted to see what the options for me would be with their offers of different weight loss products and medications. After going through the various requests for information, I provided credit card information, as they state that IF approved (a misleading statement as it means for their program NOT the medications) and I accepted the offer, I would be billed $45 for the first month, then $145 thereafter. Again, the way they advertise, they allude that this if for the medications, not some program by them that you are being charged. So, after being "approved" from their cursory review by a "doctor" they offered the various medications they said I could purchase for my weight issue. After seeing that the $45 dollar medicine was not included, and that all of the offers were very high priced, I decided that I did not want to purchase any of these meds, so I canceled my still showed as a Pending account membership. I now show a charge on my credit card for $45 even though, as I mentioned, I did not complete their program requests, nor did I select a medication, and I canceled whatever account I had at that time within the same registration process. So, in their cancelation notification email, they state that "any previous monthly membership fees and shipped medications are non-refundable" but again, since I did not a previous month, nor did I receive any medications. I want a full refund of the $45.

    Being that you were not prescribed medication, we can confirm that you are eligible for a refund of the $45. We went ahead and issued you the $45 in full and sent you the refund receipt to your email address on file. Please allow 5-10 business days to see this reflected on your bank statement. Your account is also confirmed to be canceled. Glad we could get this sorted out for you!

    Wed also be happy to clarify any confusion around costs. The Body Program costs $45 for your initial consultation fee. If approved for ***** medication, you then pay a recurring membership fee of $145/month for the Body Program subscription.If you're prescribed, ***** medication is billed separately and not covered in the program cost. Medication costs will depend on your personal insurance coverage, and our partners will work with your insurer to help determine coverage for you.     I saw RO advertising on instagram a GLP 1 compound meditation for weight loss. I started to go and view what they were advertising and see what was the difference in letting RO help me with getting GLP-1. I started the initial sign up and then afterwards noticed that they were offering a membership and canceled everything on the same day. I was never help by their so called doctors or whoever they said that would contact me in several days. I called my insurance to confirm medication coverage and they told me they would not cover anything of such. I also went and spoke with my *** who also told me pharmaceutical companies are not doing the compound medicine and they are not backed by the *** as RO is currently advertising and they are being sued. I contacted them about the charge to my card and now they are refusing to refund for something I never got done with them. They claim I did labs with them when I never did, as I cancelled everything within the 1 hour of discovering the false advertisement they were doing.

    Yesterday, June *************************************************** an effort to losing weight. And I was attracted by their $199 a month initial fee for Wegovy. But after the pricing and the side effects thatwere displayed, I had decided that this was not the right option for me. And I had canceled my membership and I was not charged for my membership. But the issue that I have been experiencing is that I have requested for the company to delete my account and allmy information and they have been reluctant to do so additionally, I have been harassed daily receiving calls from a pharmacy that I suppose they use to fill their prescriptions requesting for my verbal consent toprescribe me this medication when I no longer want to receive it and no longer have an active subscription. I have also requested for them to remove mefrom this call list and to no longer receive any soliciting calls. But I have been receiving every single day

    I subscribed to ro for weight loss. They charged me $145 two months in a row. I did receive a lab kit that they sent to me get a prescription for weight loss medication but they said they sent a prescription to my pharmacy for the medication for weight loss. The pharmacy never received the prescription that it said it sent. I was charged a second month but still no prescription was sent to my pharmacy. I would like a partial refund due to may not receiving the services that it said I would receive the only thing I received was the lab and the qualification for themedication but they did not follow through with making sure I got the medication and the support

    I am filing this complaint due to misleading advertising and lack of customer support ****************************************************************************************************. The company advertised a limited-time offer of $199 for the first month of Wegovy, as clearly stated on their website. Based on this advertisement, I proceeded with the purchase.However, my account was charged $499 instead of the advertised $199. This is deceptive, as the pricing presented was not honored. The website stated this $199 offer was for cash pay customers and did not indicate any conditions that would result in a $499 ********* make matters worse, Ro does not offer a customer service phone number to resolve urgent billing concerns, and they have not issued a refund or provided clear communication about the discrepancy. Their lack of transparency and customer support infrastructure is unacceptable, especially when dealing with high-value health-related charges.Resolution Requested:A full refund of the overcharge ($300 difference)Correction of their online pricing to reflect accurate, transparent costs A clear method of contacting live customer service for billing disputes Supporting Evidence:Attached is a screenshot of the advertisement showing the $199 offer for the first month.This situation constitutes false advertising and unethical billing practices, and I am requesting BBB assistance in holding this company accountable.

    Ro quoted me $45 and then I was told for my first month it would be $99. What I didnt know is that Id be charged $145 AND another $99 for meds making my first month $289 and ongoing $344 a month. Where did the the $145 come from? I asked several times, got the run around and when I asked how to cancel and get a refund I stopped getting responses. Now Im out $190 and no meds have been sent to date. I simply want a refund and nobody will reply. I feel hustled, scammed and without a person on their end to talk to about this.

The Ro Body membership begins with a $45 online consultation which includes your personalized treatment plan, where a Ro-affiliated provider reviews your medical history to help find a ***** medication thats right for you. The $45 introductory cost also includes assistance determining your insurance coverage and estimated copay. If you are prescribed, your provider will send your prescription to a pharmacy near you, and youll be charged $145/month for the membership. Please note that ***** medication is not included in the consultation or program fees.     You were charged $45 for the enrollment initial consultation fee, then once you were prescribed the medication you were charged $145 for the membership fee and the medication cost was separate, which was $99 for the first month. 

    You must be a Ro Body member in order to access medication prescribed by a Ro-affiliated healthcare provider and to maintain your access to the ongoing care that is needed in the ***** treatment journey.

    The $99 (medication cost) did not go through due to payment failure, therefore you were not charged for this. Additionally, we can confirm the $145 membership fee was refunded in full on 5/8/25.

    I needed a maintenance medication and came across Ro for it. The prices were standard and I took it as any mail order medication provider. However, that has not been my experience. My main issue is shipping. They use *** mail innovations which is a budget mail service with no day guarantee. This doesnt work for medication that requires storage at room temperature or else it is no longer safe to take. The last shipping update occurred 3 days ago and it has been 90+ degrees outside. So in a car its sitting at 140. The company says all medication sales are final, but this medication is no longer safe to take. I would never take a medication from Ro if they dont practice the safety protocols from the manufacturer. I have reached out to my care team and customer service with no substantive response. It appears they created a new order and then immediately cancelled it. I had to link a bank account which has already withdrawn money from my HSA. But I did not get the consideration on the deal for my money. A full refund should be given for a product that can no longer safely be used (see *********** and webmd)

    The company website has no way to cancel the subscription. It just sends you through a never ending loop with deceptive instructions. And the phone number doesn't work.

    I have been paying $200 monthly for this service. They refuse to provide medications on time and when they do, they purposely limit refills and delay refills to maximise their profits. I am currently over a month without my meds and CURRENT on my payments with them. They have sent a prescription without any refills to my pharmacy and has been sitting there ever since. I want a 2 month supply and a 2 month refund for this service as this has happened routinely and im sick of losing days on my prescription and my treatment suffering.

As she mentioned, the pharmacy confirmed they did receive the prescription on time, however it was too soon to fill at that time and the system did not re-process it later. As she advised, please complete one follow up visit after you receive and start your prescription - somewhere around the two week mark to avoid delays. If you do not fill within a few days of us sending it, inquire the issues on the pharmacy end. Refill check-ins are necessary to complete prior to receiving a refill in order for our providers to be to date on your treatment journey and determine if titration is safe. If you wish to increase from a 30 day supply, please send your provider a message in order to review the request and adjust, if appropriate. 
    We completely understand and hear your concerns. We can confirm that you were issued a $220 credit that will automatically apply at your next payment date. Please dont hesitate to reach out to ****************************** if you need additional assistance.

    ro quoted me an initial price of $45 and $145. On the second refill, I was charged $45, $145, and an additional charge of $199, totaling $344. The $199.00 was not authorized or agreed to. I have cancelled my membership. Its fraudulent.
