I went to this location after having booked a storage unit at a set price for today’s date. When I arrived, the staff attempted to change the type of room. I declined and they showed me the room I had booked. They then took my drivers license and debit card as a began filling out the final paperwork. As I was almost complete with the paperwork, the manager who I believe was named Jerome told me I had to put a mask on and that I was breaking the law. There was signage on the floors and at the front desk to maintain social distancing which I did. I responded that I think you only are mandated to wear a mask when u can’t maintain social distancing which I was at all time but it’s no problem cause I’ll put on my mask that I have in my bag. There was also another customer who was there before and did not wear a mask. I attempted to book with this same location months ago and this same manager had been extremely rude then as well. I had specifically called yesterday to say that I don’t want them to try to give me a different room and they said that wouldn’t happen. After I said I had a mask and went to grab it from my bag, the manager told me not to bother, that I’m banned from renting a unit from this location as well as all other locations. This is exactly what I was told when it happened and this company is using the virus as an excuse to not sell a room at an agreed discount. Manager very disrespectful. Was a nightmare Experience I paid for 1 month only needed it for a month and asked to cancel. They instead tried to cheat me out of my full 30 days by terminating me with strange 21 day notice. When I asked questions was told I had a full 30 days. Strangest place ever Latina manager was verrrry belligerent and rude. I reserved a unit and immediately began to receive a bunch of solicitation calls from the property manager which were pretty much them begging for me as a new customer. So I relented and went with them only to be met with a nightmare no customer service wow. I advise no one to do business with them. Very sociopathic tyrant-esque business practices. Wound up having to pay for another unit with another company totally inconvenienced me and was no help. I see this company bankrupt in the near future because of their business practices.

Our records indicate that this rental was cancelled after seven days, on 11/3/20. The full amount of the initial payment we had received was refunded at that time, in accordance with an offer we made on 11/1/20.
