      Hired as a resume service and my resume had career gaps, and I have never had career gaps. They re-wrote my resume, and it was even worse, nothing that I asked for. I requested a refund and they refused, they keep trying to re-write my resume, and I don't trust them. This service was a scam!

      This company is a parent of Topresume.com. They make you pay for their services in advance. They didn't provide the services promised on time. They were supposed to rewrite my resume and some cover letters. The resume was full of errors and wrong information. After I complained to them they gave me another revised resume which was even worse than the 1st one. They only gave me 1 generic cover letter which was so mediocre seemed like written by a bot or an AI tool. They are not returning my money back. They made me wait for the updated resume, I missed so many job opportunities because of them.

      On February 24th, I purchased a resume writing package and upgraded to the 48-hour rush option.I received a multi-page cluster of repetitive words in various tenses which lacked any formatting or professional structure. The product was subpar and generic and did not align with the claims that the company advertises.The lack of communication from the writer was very disappointing. After providing edits and requests, there was an entire business day where no contact was made at all, although I had made it clear that the job deadline was coming very near. I called customer service repeatedly and sent emails seeking assistance to no avail.Despite being promised by Top Resume that I would receive a resume that would almost guarantee an interview, the window for my desire job has come and gone and I still do not have a completed product as of February 29th, 2024.I made the writer aware through messaging that it was too late and a refund would be appreciated. I was told that they provided what they promised and no refund would be given.This experience has been very stressful and may very well have cost me a job opportunity. Had I known about the ethics of this company, I would have selected a different one which could be trusted to deliver what they claimed.Top Resume, the job opening has come and gone and I had to stay up all night long writing my own resume in order to get it submitted in the **** of time. I did not accept or approve the order and would appreciate a full refund.

      I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Top Resume. Not only were there numerous misspelled words in my resume, but my name was also incorrect throughout the document. It was evident that the resume was written by an outsourced, non-English speaking writer who lacked the necessary skills to produce a quality product.When I brought these issues to Top Resume's attention, their only solution was to reassign my project to a "top writer" - something I had already paid for in the first place. In addition, they offered me a measly $50 coupon for a thank-you letter, which did not come close to making up for the poor quality of work I received.Furthermore, there is no way an HR professional would hire based on the quality of work completed by this agency. The lack of attention to detail and professionalism in my resume was alarming and reflects poorly on Top Resume's credibility as a resume writing service.Overall, my experience with Top Resume has been a complete disappointment. I expected a professional service that would help me advance in my career, but instead, I was left with a subpar resume and a lackluster resolution to the problems I encountered. I would not recommend Top Resume to anyone looking for quality resume writing services.

      1/16/24 Purchase Resume, Cover Letter, Thank you Letter and ***************** Services I ended up doing all of the work, the final version of the resume was misformartted with multiple fonts and looked like a 5 year old did it. I immediately requested a refund and cancelation of services. They have stopped communicating, no refund or rewrite, and no *****************. This is fraud!

      Order number ********** on 1/26/24 $197 and order number 1/26/24 ********** $50. I paid to have a resume completed by a certain date, that resume writer put incorrect data on the resume. I tried to resolve this twice there was failure to respond and I have already redone the resume myself and gotten a job. I want my money back because they failed to write a resume and I found the one they copy and pasted to my resume because they have lack of training and uneducated writers for health care providers

      I purchased the Elite Executive Priority package which included a resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile on January 11, ****. I got the first draft and the quality was substantially subpar with the resume being extremely basic at best. I noted my concerns immediately and asked for a refund only to be put into a very long loop of "this is a collaborative process" and communication about how I needed to give feedback which at this point I'd have to red line the entire document and the cover letter which was flagged as 60% plagiarized when scammed with a plagiarism checker which is again not as per the service that was promised. While I get first drafts aren't always spot on, what was done is so far below that acceptable standard that there is no point in continuing with this service as the package promised is clearly not in their wheel house. I have now been trying to get a refund for several days only to be told that this is a collaborative process over and over which completely negates the reasons I provided for wanting to stop this process. The timeframes have now also gone beyond what I needed and I ended up just redoing my resume myself. It's now been several days of back and forth and the company is refusing to give me back my money. All I want is a refund and to cease having to work with them which shouldn't be such a difficult ask. I am trying to preserve everyone's time and just end the engagement. Their behaviour is very predatory with my request being totally ignored and them insisting I continue with a service that's not meeting my needs or what was promised during the sales process. I was promised expertise but was delivered is just what I already had on my resume with awkward phrasing and copy pasted content from other sources.

      On December 7, 2023, I ordered the "Ultimate Career Confidence" package, for which I paid $279. I expected this package to include access to 120 days of Career?.io Premium. Unfortunately, several issues have marred the experience. Firstly, I have been facing persistent difficulties accessing my TopResume account, which I consider unacceptable. Despite repeated attempts and the assistance of TopResume's representatives, I have yet to resolve this access problem. This situation jeopardizes my trust in TopResume and raises concerns about their business practices.Furthermore, I have encountered misleading information on TopResume's website regarding writers' direct LinkedIn profile updates. The website explicitly stated that the package included professional writers updating their LinkedIn profiles directly. However, upon closer examination, this service was not provided as advertised. This misinformation has led to a significant disconnect between my expectations and the service delivered.In my pursuit of resolution, I have contacted TopResume multiple times, beginning on December 29, 2023. While their representatives have responded promptly, the issues remain unresolved. My Order #: ********** serves as a reference for this matter.Considering the cost of the "Ultimate Career Confidence" package and the fact that it has not delivered a significant portion of what was promised (Direct LinkedIn updates), the financial impact on me is substantial. I expected a comprehensive service in line with the package description, and the failure to provide this service has resulted in a financial loss. This situation has prompted significant frustration, inconvenience, financial loss, and mistrust, and TopResume should promptly rectify it.

From October 18th to December 20th, I easily applied to hundreds of jobs, not to receive a single interview.When nothing was working, I sought the help of a real professional writer who pointed out at least three critical and unprofessional mistakes within just a glance on the first page. I have pointed these out in the attachments. I am also mortified that this resume is part of my talent profile in hundreds of companys talent management software. This not only wasted months of my job search, but also destroyed my name and reputation.I was guaranteed an interview and did not get one using the resume or cover letter, so I am demanding a full refund. I wish I had checked this website first before I got scammed.

      ******** made on November 7th, 2023...Refund requested on November 8th, 2023...Total amount charged for initial, upgraded, and a la carte services was $175 & $314 (****** with interest through Affirm)Order ************************* Top Resume said they would put in a refund request, REPEATEDLY harassed me to stay with the service & talk me out of a refund, & then refused to issued the refund when I declined.This service was sold to me through a free review through their sister company - I did not seek the service out.TopResume told me that my design ********************** as a PDF was not the best form to submit for job applications as per HR filters. I asked this question over the phone to customer service to confirm as it seemed contradictory to what I was always told. Turns out, the company lied to get me to sign up.The company further promised to have an expert write the ********************** addressing a lack of action keywords. Seemed fair enough at the time. The additional services were for a cover letter, LinkedIn ********* *********** assistance.What I got back from this company was ATROCIOUS - like a high schooler wrote it with AI. Definitely used CHATGPT. The layout was so visually upsetting and cluttered. Important job details removed. Summary was clickbait - a bunch of action keywords slapped together to form meaningless sentences. More importantly, GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT - this is the foundation of a **********************. Resumes get tossed for this. And my supposed "expert writer" did not understand basic grammar (full of incomplete sentences, no substance, and meaningless jargon).I immediately halted all services so that I did not receive the rest of the services granted. TopResume refused to refund me for any of the purchases, even the ones I did not receive. They vehemently defended their writer and blamed me for not entertaining a collaborative process when I repeatedly explained that revisions could not solve this writer's issues, especially with basic grammar and use of AI.
