I attempted to sell tickets on this site. I uploaded the 3 tickets multiple times and they did not show up. I contacted them and they responded with "Success! You are all set...." I went back into my account and the tickets are gone. I am very worried that this company stole my tickets. I want the ability to sell them or I want them back. I think this company needs to be audited - they are very careless, offer NO SUPPORT in real time and just take your tickets and **** - they're gone.Business Response

We advised you that you are unable to list rotating barcodes on our platform and would need to list these tickets elsewhere. Since the tickets were never uploaded correctly, these have never been listed on SeatGeek.com and are still within the original location that your purchase was completed on initially.

I purchased 6 tickets for the ******************* Concert scheduled for 12/19/2022 from Seatgeek.com On Sunday, 12/18/202, 1 day before the concert, the concert was cancelled and then rescheduled for June 2, 2023. ( That's 6 months from the original concert date ) These 6 tickets cost over $ ******* dollars and SEAT GEEK refuses to give me a refund to my credit card and the only option there offering is a Seatgeek credit? My work schedule is very erratic and trying to schedule something 6 months out is impossible. First SEATGEEK is holding 10's of millions of dollars of customers money for 6 months with no benefit to the customer? I should NOT be forced to see a show on a future date that I did not pick and cannot guarantee I will be able to attend ! Or as SEATGEEK suggests that we could try n resell the tickets via there website, and I'm sure they making additional monies of those sales with NONE of that money going back to the customer even after ******************** held your money for over 6 months and gave you no interest on that money ! I purchased the tickets on 11/14/22 for a concert that happened on last night . I just found that out because I was unable to track their information until I saw it on the form where I filed a dispute with my bank...I went to their website looking for tickets that had the same name as a comedy show that I was attending so I thought I was purchasing tickets for the comedy show. However after purchasing the tickets I discovered the picture was different which caused me to further investigate. I discovered that I had purchased the wrong tickets and when I received the email to accept the tickets. I never did. Then as I preceded to read there return policy. They don't want to refund my money even though I never accepted the tickets.... UNACCEPTABLE...SO, NOW ITS A WIN/WIN FOR EVERYONE. If a customer purchases tickets that were for the incorrect event, SeatGeek is not obligated to issue any type of refund in monetary forms. The SeatGeek Swaps process is intended as a courtesy for customers who can't attend an event any longer or purchased for the wrong event.
That being said, a SeatGeek Swaps return is not a refund of money back to the card that was used to purchase but rather a promo code refund to purchase the intended tickets that the customer wanted instead. As stated on the website before a purchase is made, "SeatGeek Swaps is a program where eligible tickets can be returned to SeatGeek in exchange for a Promo Code. Swaps-eligible tickets can be returned up to 72 hours before the event (or first event if you buy a series or bundle of tickets) with no questions asked!"
Otherwise, if a customer doesn't wish to repurchase the correct tickets, the purchase can always be re-listed on ************ to recoup their costs in monetary form.

I spent $490 on this event not counting time spent. I bought 3 tickets to commanders v giants football on 12/18. We get to our seats and they are behind a massive column obstructing our view. My tickets never disclosed they were obstructed. They werent listed as instructed when I went on the app to buy them, when I bought them, or on my actual ticket. I have chatted with seatgeek customer service and they claim a disclosure should have been listed but cant tell me where I would have seen it or how to find it when I buy tickets. This view ruined the entire experience as I couldnt see the majority of the game. I just want clear proof that I missed the disclosure or a refund of my ticket cost. They wont provide either of these. The seller notes included on the listing say "Obstructed View (printed on ticket),Obstructed View (printed on ticket - Scan your tickets from your phone for this event." This was noted in the listing on the event page, as well as on the checkout page prior to completing the purchase.
Listings expire after the purchase is completed, so I have provided a screenshot of our internal system, which shows what was noted in the listing.
As has already been stated, we cannot provide a refund, due to the fact that the view was noted as being obstructed prior to the purchase. As such, we consider this matter resolved. Please reach out at hi@************ with any further questions.

On 12/18 i had ordered tickets for the pink concert that is taking place on 7/31/23. I no longer can use the tickets and returned them. Seatgeek sent an email stating they would give me a promo code within 48 hours after the return had been accepted and processed. On 12/18 i received confirmation that the return was accepted from seatgeek and have not heard anything back. I have not received the promo code. I tried emailing, but was unable to find a contact info. I paid 532$ for the tickets. I would like some sort of refund.Business Response

I received a refund on tickets i had bought, seat geek was only able to give me credit on a promo code which I used to buy tickets yesterday which are only $332.91. My promo code was for $458 which is what I paid for the tickets that I was refunded and now I lost $125.09 because the tickets I purchased yesterday were less than what my promo code was for. This is ridiculous. I paid $458. I should be guaranteed another promo code with that remaining $125.09 or a refund back to my credit card. this is a scam and taking hard valuable earned consumers money.Business Response

Hello, Im *************************. I bought five tickets of *********** JJ20 World Tour. It was started 1:00pm to buy tickets. I bought tickets at 1:04. I found before them sold out, the price SeatGeek gave me was more higher than it really is! I bought almost $667 each one!! And total is $3333.95. Im writing the following letter as a Letter of Dispute, to dispute the charges on my MBNA Credit card # ******************* , of $1,134.52 from SeatGeek Event Tickets ******** ** which was posted as a transaction to my account on Wednesday December 7th 2022.On Wednesday December 7th 2022 , while searching ****** for ************************* Concert Tickets to his ********* ** show at ****************** on October 4th 2023 , the top sponsored ad for SeatGeek appeared with a 100% lowest price garuntee . I later in December 8th 2022 found a lower price direct via the venue . Seatgeek is now only offering a promo code for one time use , and is not offering a refund and holding my money hostage . In regards to the refund request in the form of a monetary return rather than a promo code for order ************ this event is considered all sales final. The SeatGeek Swaps return that was made on the customer's behalf through the seller, has already been processed in full and the customer should now see a 100% promo code refund returned to their SeatGeek account for $809.42.
In regards to the BBB case, this customer stated that they have opened a dispute with their credit card. SeatGeek can't work with the customer to return funds if a dispute has been opened at all. SeatGeek does not also refund for tickets where the customer was able to find cheaper tickets.
This event is considered all sales final due to the event promoter, so SeatGeek can't refund the tickets, especially considering that a dispute has been opened with their bank.

The company says I am still in the wrong and that there policy is legal which it is not . It would be nice to see some sort of compensation for over 4 months of time and interest on these fraudulent charges .

I purchased 1 ticket thru SeatGeek (the ONLY way to attend event) for ** *********** football game at *********** (Cowboys).Date purchased 12/11/2022 for game 12/17/2022. Order ***********. Upon purchase of ticket $22.79 I could not locate my online ticket. After researching the sites menus, I tried to locate a phone number which I could not. I did find on frequently asked questions that tickets may not appear until 24 hours prior (or 12/16) . I waited until 12/16 and "chat" with ********* who opened an expited ticket *******, She claimed the ticket was transfered. I advised I did not do it. I located on account that transfer went to *** Services (possibly assocated with where game was played?) Later the same day I chated with ********* and said game was next day. On 12/17 I wrote Email that still had no ticket. I went to game and purchases online another ticket before walking into the event. I am following up regarding order *********** which is for 2022 UIL State Championships 5A DI, 6A DII, 6A DI that took place on 12/17/22.
After reviewing this order I am showing that the customer received the tickets then transferred them to another party. I have issued a $20 promo to the account as a courtesy as the customer is claiming they did not transfer the tickets, but the transfer was done from within the customers own SeatGeek account.
The tickets were delivered in accordance with out Buyer Guarantee, and a courtesy promo code has been issued. At this point SeatGeek considers this issue to be resolved.

They wanted me to accept a $20 promo code to which I told him I would deny. After researching, I found out that in my email inbox, spam folder, delted folder, I received neither of the emails that ******* stated that ********* sent. I have NEVER received a promo code either as company states I had. ******* asked if a credit back to my credit card for the amount of the ticket and service fees would be acceptable. I stated it would sincfe I have no intentions of ever using SeatGeek again, and a promotional code would never be used (as they probably would hope). I did not knowingly transfer any ticket, or want to transfer a ticket. If their site is not "user friendly" that is on them. I bought the ticket in good faith, and did attend the event after purchasing another ticket (as that was the ONLY way entry was granted). I have disputed the charge as well with the credit card company and will continue to be a voice of this negative experience to others. *********************
