  Through a difficult and exhausting application process the team at Policy Genius stayed on top by providing me with regular updates until my policy was finally approved. I was totally satisfied and would recommend others to give them a call.

  The website was nicely designed. But the quotes or pricing on life insurance they shared was fake. I had to answer a number of health questions which was fine. But then the quotes they gave were low. We call this the old switch and bait.Please dont ask health questions if you're going to lie with the pricing shown please.Its unnecessary to mislead consumers intentionally.

  Great company, so helpful with streamlining the research process and only showing me my best options for life, car, and condo insurance.   If I could give zero stars I would. I was just trying to be a responsible adult and get life insurance to secure my children's futures should something ever happen to me. Not only did they ask me the same health questions over and over again, they promised I wouldn't need to do any health exams and I would have coverage in as little as 5 days. Fast forward 6 weeks later and not only did they force me to do a medical exam at the last minute (someone sketchy showed up at my door with a medical mask that was dirty and falling off of his face) but then they denied me because I have low iron. One of the first things I told them was that I had low iron but that I had just found out and had started taking supplements. The person I spoke to initially led me to believe this wouldn't be an issue. Everything else looked good (young, healthy, non-smoker, no mental health issues). Then after denying my application they said give them another week to see if any of their other carriers would offer me life insurance (spoiler alter: they couldn't find anyone that wanted to give life insurance to a healthy young mother who has low iron). This honestly feels like a scam because ever since I filled out my application I keep getting weird text messages from obvious scammers and notifications that my data has been leaked. It would have at least been partially worth it if they had been knowledgeable or experienced enough to find me a carrier that would accept my application. All they did was waste my time and leak my data. Thanks policy "genius".

  Our homeowners policy was canceled with ********** due to 'discoloration of the roof' which they found via a satellite picture. The roof is a bit old, sure, but not in horrible shape. Our contractor said we should probably replace it. We do, pay a deposit, and ********** still says they're canceling our policy because we can't get the roof until November (it's a very busy time for roofs).But what's worse is Policygenius won't even help us shop around for new coverage until the roof is replaced. Now I'm totally on my own for coverage and don't understand why I used Policygenius in the first place. It's clear neither Policygenius nor ********** actually cares about our business, they just want to save money by dropping us.Don't expect Policygenius to help you out if your coverage gets canceled!

  I am very pleased how easy and simple going through policy genius was. I got the insurance I was looking for and needed. When no other company followed up with me nor did any other company call me back. Policy genius was there with follow *** in a periodical time frames. Which I liked. I would refer them to friends and family for their insurance needs.

  They were extremely helpful in getting me matched up with the right life insurance provider. In spite of being 57 years old I was able to get a large policy with a very reputable company in just three weeksat their best rates. Great communication throughout the process and no pressure sales tactics. Highly recommend.
