We have updated Mr. ****'s credit report as "DISPUTED” as per the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

This is a formal complaint regarding a negative account that is being inaccurately reported on my credit file. The first time I ever heard of this company was when I was alerted that something was added to my credit report.I contacted ********** about the validity of this item and received no just explanation. I then sent a certified letter in June and July of 2025 to *** to validate the item posted on my report.I received no response. I then contacted ********** again in in September of 2025 and they havent given me any copies of the disputes I submitted unless requested by an attorney because *** filed a civil lawsuit in September of 2025 after my multiple request to of proof and validity of the debt. ********** removed the item off my report because they never received validated the debt.DNF filed a civil suit in September of 2025 even though they never validated the debt and it was removed! Now DNF continues to ******* me with requests that they're not entitled to because they violated FDCPA.They have violated FDCPA and still persist on pursuing a civil case against **** am a single mother and this situation has brought many sleepless nights for **** sent the discovery responses letting them know they never validated the debt and I'm still being harassed.I need this business to drop the civil case and find a better way to validate and communicate with me rather than threatening to garnish to little wages I made to survive. Please do not forward the same generic responses and actually send the validation and proof of debt that Im requesting. *** has failed to due so within a timely manner and its purely criminal to ignore consumer laws.

The collection agency did not follow proper dispute procedures and failed to validate the debt when requested. Reporting this account under those circumstances is unfair.

I am submitting this response regarding DNF Associates and their continued false reporting of an alleged debt. DNF Associates provided a bill of sale and billing statements; however, this does not constitute a valid Method of Verification (MOV) as required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Furthermore, they are reporting inconsistent balances: DNF Associates claims the alleged debt is $825.56. My credit report reflects a balance of $826.00. This discrepancy, no matter how small, demonstrates a failure to maintain maximum possible accuracy under the FCRA. Additionally, the alleged original creditor could not confirm this account, leaving DNF Associates without proper validation to report or collect on it. Continuing to report unverified and inaccurate information constitutes false reporting, negligence, and violations of the FDCPA. I am demanding that this account be immediately deleted from all of my credit reports.
