I experienced the worst customer service of my retail therapy experience, in a Rainbow store in Dallas Texas yesterday. I returned some sandals that were too small that I had purchased the previous day. When asked if I'd worn them, I said no. That was true! The two clerks both talked to each other as if I wasn't in front of them, stating to one another that it looked as if I'd worn them. I asked them if they were calling me a liar and one of them took over the conversation and became argumentative with me. She said she wasn't calling me a liar, she was giving her opinion. Her tone was as if I had killed her mother in front of her. The hatred streamed from her eyes. When I told her we just have to agree to disagree, she snapped again and told me to "Just fill out the form!" In shock, I filled out the form and said, " So this is how you talk to people?" There were no customers in the store and I was planning on purchasing more than I returned. Of course I change my mind. I retired from ****** ****** as a commissioned sales person so one must know how appalling I found this vile transaction. I woke up thinking about this person at 5;00a.m. and how proud and powerful she spoke to me in such a disgusting manner. I have shopped at Rainbow since I moved to Dallas thirty years ago from Oregon. Never have I experienced such as this. Rainbow has got a lot of work to do. By the way, I was offered a $10.00 gift certificate as compensation for the verbal abuse I endured. No wonder **** ***** is doing so well. Signed, Bewildered in Dallas
