This a complaint about the extremely difficult and borderline criminal process this company uses to ensure you cannot cancel with them. I bought a trial membership on my birthday, 7/22/22, after basically being held hostage for hours under the clever guise of a "90 minute presentation". They give you breakfast and several alcoholic beverages to loosen you up, and no matter how many times you say no they bring in another manager/developer to pressure you into buying. Well after about 4 hrs of this I bought a trial to just leave as they are holding transportation back to the resort. My intention was alway to cancel immediately, I've spoken to people at the resort, emails, phone calls and have just gotten a massive run around. At this point, this is just one big major scam as I'm not even in the system for what I paid $3000 for. I just want my money back and to be rid of all ties with The Villa Group.
