  We manage a storage facility and our water heater went out 2 days before thanksgiving. We called numerous other plumbers but Hips had the best price and customer service. We had Kyle who came out. He was very efficient and knowledgeable as well. Will definitely use there services again

  They charged us 2 thousand dollars for a basic 40 galloon water heater install - it took them 2 hours to install a 700 dollar water heater. They charged us over 600 an hour - that is unheard of - and we are not wealthy - we barely qualify as middle class - exactly the people they shouldn't be ripping off. 2 guys 2 hours - 700 dollar water heater - 1300 for 2 hours of work - that's not right or fair.

After review of your appointment, we want to make sure we clarify a few things for any existing or future customer reading this review. We scheduled for a technician to come out to your home late in the afternoon within a 2-hour timeframe from your initial call because we understand the urgency when our customers are without hot water. All of our calls begin with a FREE complimentary assessment and we provide you with a FREE estimate. Our technicians go over the scope of work, discuss pricing with you,, and answer any questions before we request your verbal and written signature of approval before we begin any work. As a company, we offer fair and competitive pricing that aligns with our professionalism and quality of work as reflected in our 5-star rating on both Yelp and Google. We are not the most expensive company out there but we are not the cheapest either as we understand the value we provide as a well-established company with a great reputation throughout the Vegas Valley. We use American-made quality water heaters that we know will last you a long time, not the cheap quality water heaters you find at your local home improvement stores that are known to fail within a few years, we use all new parts during our installation, and we pull the necessary permits and inspections needed for the work that we complete. We would also like to point out that your review fails to mention that our technicians had to relocate your dryer to have access to your existing water heater, we replaced the gas B vent for said water heater, and we fixed the temperature pressure relief line that was never soldered by your previous plumber, ALL as a complimentary service to you at no additional charge. We would also like to point out that our office gave you a call and requested to have our company owner stop by and talk to you regarding your experience with us, answer any questions, go over the work we did and see if there was anything else we could do to remediate your experience with us, but you DECLINED a visit or to speak to the owner. Again, we stand by our quality work, transparency, fair pricing, customer service, and professionalism for all of our customers.
