I purchased an auto part that ended up not fitting my car. I tried to return the item, but was denied because the part is considered electrical. I purchased an auto part from this company that clearly stated that the item was a genuine GM part that fits my vehicle. The part did NOT fit my vehicle, and I attempted to return/exchange the part for one that would fit, but i was denied because the representative said that the part I purchased was considered an electrical part/electrical component, and their return policy prohibits returns on such items. I informed the representative that there were indeed NO electrical components in the part I had purchased. No where in the description of the item does it state that the part is an electrical part/electrical component. The part that I purchased is a window regulator without a motor, and there are NO electrical components in the part itself, it's just (2) metal brackets with cords that connect to a plastic cog that is supposed to attach to the motor of the pulley in my vehicle. I feel like I was misled by the company's product listing, and I just want to get the money back that I apparently have wasted. I purchased the item on 04/09/20. Order number ********. Part number ********. The item was delivered on 04/13/20 and I contacted the company the same day to inform them that the part did not fit my vehicle after attempting to install the part. The total cost of the item minus tax and shipping was $93.07, which I paid with my **** card. No sales rep name was given - contacted through email.

Desired Outcome

I had originally requested to receive a refund for my purchase and that I would be willing to exchange the purchased part with one that would fit my vehicle instead, however, I was denied both options. I am now requesting to get a full refund for my purchase and to not conduct further business with the company.

They took my payment and claimed order was cancelled. According to my paypal, they got paid. Hope they enjoy my retirement money. Spent 26 years of my life for my retirement fighting for this country. Thank you GPG for stealing from me.
