Armed Forces Loans is inaccurately reporting information on my credit profile. I have communicated with them to close the account as well as issued several disputes. AFL has continued to list the account as open, when in fact this account should be closed and that reflected on my credit report with accurate information. This is not an open account and AFL refuses to report accurately. Date Open, HIGH BALANCE, last payment date etc are all being reported differently to each bureau. AFL is violating the Fair Credit act. PLEASE REMOVE THIS ACCOUNT FROM MY CREDIT REPORT. There is physical proof that AFL has refused on multiple occasions to provide accurate information to the credit bureaus, the account should be removed. AFL refuses to report accurately thereby they are intentionally harming Veterans credit files. Also this account is in violation of ** law which prevents companies from forcing active duty members to set up an allotment in order to receive the loan. AFL violated this law when I was forced to set up an allotment in order to be approved for the loan.

Unfortunately, ****************** account fell past-due and being handled by AFL's in-house Collection Department.  To best serve **************, AFL has written- off the unpaid balance and updated the 3 major credit reporting tradelines.  If there are any questions please call our offices during regular business hours.

I am rejecting this response because the loan was continually illegally reported to the credit bureaus. The company would fail to report for in order to allow the loan to remain active and continue to charge late fees after the loans term should have been charged off. Since AFL had continued to attempt to fraudulently report the status of the account then it should be deleted immediately from my credit report and all attempts to collect either by AFL and/or any third party shall be nullified due to the fraudulent, unethical, and illegal practices by AFL. As shown in the photo, AFL illegally changed the days late to allow the account to remain active until they charged it off. These practices are extremely unethical, and again, this shall be completely deleted from my credit report immediately.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *****

We are unclear on ***************** reasoning for his claims and to the best of our knowledge AFL has reported correctly to all 3 major credit bureaus.  To avoid any additional frustration we have decided to remove the in question trade line; this action does not acknowledge or accept any of the frivolous claims ************* has made in this complaint.

We wish the best to ************* and if there are any additional questions to please give ** a call during regular business hours.
