    Met ****** on 6/13/2025 ***** ******** did not work. Like most as he had short working days. I talked to him about this. His reply was others work this way. The job was to take 2 wks. He came at about 1100 AM left

    "A & R Handyman" was listed on the BBB website. I selected this handyman for being listed and a handout that he distributed to our community. He portrayed himself as being "licensed, bonded, and insured". In short, he was hired to do lawn care. He did ok at first. He invoiced for more work but did not show up as scheduled today. I attempted to contact him numerous times this morning but there is no response. I called BBB today and was told that the business' address was repeatedly requested but not given. I implore BBB to REMOVE "A & R Handyman" from their listing so others don't get duped and lose time (by texting handyman, calling BBB and credit card company, etc)! I've uploaded documents (community handout, hand-printed receipts) on BBB website. Others may think just because he is listed on the BBB website that he is legitimate.

    BBB said he was given a "F" rating and was "obvious". If BBB wants to be taken as a legitimate referral business they shouldn't put businesses on their website at all until they've fully vetted them - unless BBB wants to be part of the problem and work themselves out of a job!

    For a receipt he used the back of a sheet (not a receipt with a printed address), took a picture of credit card (to say he does not have to jot down all the numbers on the credit card), and now unreliably does not show up for subsequent work. I looked up the handyman's address and it does not show anything, it's not even an address!

    A & R Handyman included something that required going to a home retail company so I asked for a copy of the receipt. He did not provide this.

    He used a square to process credit card. Buyer beware! He makes others, in similar work, suspect! The final amount could have been much more but for contacting the credit card company. They were responsive. Lesson learned.

    Hi this is ****** I'm been trying to get a hold of her but apparently she not want talk to me I'm trying to reimburse her money since the beginning had a emergency with mother can't make it but I'm willing to give her money reposted on her card again exactly what she give me she's trying to fight credit card company but this way is going to take till December long time no reason to fight them just let me know if I can do this an settle faster send a message or she can call me she has only call me one time not several times like she says she's not answering my calls don't want her to have a nightmare on this please let me know whsts next step

    Robert M******* presented his proposal to repair and replace my drive way and repair the stucco on my house for a total of $15,449.51. I paid ck#**** for $5k to start work plus $4700 on 10/26/22. The stucco was completed but the weather turned too cold for concrete work on driveway. Concrete to be done in Spring. On 3/29/23, Robert and his helper measured 2 bathrooms and did prep work to install grab bars to both showers and next to toilets. I paid him $500 but have never received grab bars. I've texted Robert twice and left voicemail for refund, but have received no return call.
