    So I placed a church’s chicken order in thier app on Feb 8, 2025 for delivery to my apt because the offered free delivery in app at the time. The order was placed at 7:42pm it was scheduled to be delivered by 8:22pm. I never received the deliver even after putting delivery instructions and trying to communicate with the driver. The driver put the food in some unknown location and sent a pic but would not answer my call or text trying to coordinate to get the food. I proceeded to call the number in the email which is DoorDash support for church’s chicken. The apologized and said that I refund would be issued in 13 business days from church’s chicken so I wait till Feb 26, 2025 and no refund is received so I call back and they say they will escalate and someone would get back to me in 3 business days nobody ever gets back to me so I call the store itself and am told that the GM can’t handle the refund and that the DM would have to deal with it but he was in the hospital for the next 10 days. I asked them is there someone else I can talk to because I’ve worked fast food and areas aren’t usually left with out someone overseeing them. They told me no there is no one so I said ok I’ll contact corporate. Keep in mind we are already into March 8th 30 days after I placed the order. I proceed to call corporate church’s and they tel me they are sorry and that they will send it up to process a Refund I say ok and wait and wait and wait still nothing I proceed to call them back 2 times between March 20 and April 20th and still have yet to hear back or receive a refund. We are approaching June soon it should not take this long and no one has attempted to reach out to me or anything. I just keep getting the same spew about we send it up to the highest up but nothing ever happens. I really feel like they are purposely doing this at this point it should not take 4 months to process a refund

    I’m writing to inform you that Church’s Chicken has issued a refund in response to the complaint I previously submitted through your office. The matter has now been resolved to my satisfaction, and no further action is needed at this time.
    I sincerely appreciate the time, support, and assistance provided by you and the Better Business Bureau. Thank you for your help in facilitating this resolution.
