1 starI have made several orders but just had an issue for the first time. My order included a note stating the item I ordered was not in stock. They gave me two nail strips as a substitute. However, these items were not to my liking. I requested a refund or exchange which the company refused, unless I paid for return shipping. I feel like this violated my consumer rights since I did not order these items in the first place, and should not have had to pay to receive a refund or exchange for them. Ironically, the item I did not receive is now showing as in stock just a few days after my purchaseReview fromKyle P

I placed an order and selected 2 day ***** shipping. The product was shipped but has since disappeared. ***** cannot help me and after trying to contact Color Street Via email, form submission online through their website and calling numerous numbers and leaving voicemails for countless offices, I still do not have my order, am missing $50 from my account and ********************** doesn't seem to either have anyone working or just doesn't care about my situation. It has been a week since I first started contacting colorStreet with no contacts made or calls returned. They gladly accepted payment from me. Took that money and ran. They don't feel like handle customer issues is part of running Their business.Color Street, LLC

****, we were sorry to hear that your order was lost in transit with the Fed Ex carrier after leaving the Color Street warehouse. We can understand that it is frustrating, especially during the holidays, to have mail lost. As we know you can appreciate, Color Street does not control the mail once it leaves our warehouse. Of course, we wanted to ensure you received prompt attention and excellent customer service, so a review of your communications with our *************************** was conducted. The first email from you to report your package missing, was on December 19th at 1:53PM EST, the same day as this review. While we cant confirm the actual time of this review, we do know that your email was responded to at 2:36pm (approximately 45 minutes later) at which time you provided confirmation of your shipping address. Following your confirmation, you were informed that a replacement order was shipped and tracking indicates it was delivered today, Friday, December 22. In a matter of a few hours, your concern had been addressed.Review fromLeslie S

Colorstreet has very poor customer service and is very dishonest in their practices. I bought a starter kit in June for $99 that was advertised as having all 6 of the Anniversary sets. Which was what I really wanted - as they were already all sold out. I received 4 of the Anniversary sets and a note in my kit from Colorstreet that I would be mailed the last 2 sets in July. There were no conditions listed on the note - and I had paid the full amount for the kit. I never received the last 2 sets - and I have emailed over and over again - and been told repeatedly that I dont qualify for the 2 sets because I resigned as a stylist. The 2 things had nothing to do with each other. There were no conditions to purchase the kit - but they shorted me the 2 sets, and will not fulfill the promise they sent to send them to me when they were available again. I am really frustrated and have been a loyal customer to ********************** having ordered from them dozens of times before this.Color Street, LLC

******, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the response received from the Color Street **************** team. Their response was appropriate. The Nail-tional Night Out join offer you mentioned was for individuals who wished to be an Independent Stylist with Color Street. The purchase of a Stylist Kit provides information and supplies to help run a Color Street business. After a thorough review of your account and your emails to ****************, it was noted that you requested resignation of your business account within six (6) days and you also stated that you did not intend to sell Color Street; that you just wanted the otherwise sold-out anniversary sets. As were sure you understand, this was not the objective of the join offer. Its also not your first time doing this and suggests a pattern. In July 2022, you resigned after eight (8) days to take advantage of the Beat the Heat join special. As stated in the ******************* All qualifications, specifications, prizes, and details are subject to change at the discretion of Color Street. A report was run for anyone that resigned within a specified period, thus appearing to purchase the kit simply for the extras included. We understand that this is disappointing; however, the intention of the join offer was to support someone who truly wanted to promote Color Street.Review fromPeter A

The products themselves are solid. However, if you are looking to actually make money the cost of shipping (company makes a rebate from Fedex/ profit on each product shipment), commissions structure, limited release of products set up is very challenging. The organizational structure of contractors is essentially a pyramid scheme -the more people you recruit to sell the more money you make. The company sells 'independence' and financial freedom, the reality is debt and free labor with great margins for the company and little to show except gimmicks and prize trips for the seller. Highly caution anyone looking to make actual money to get a job that actually pays you real money and benefits -since you are a 'contractor' they don't pay any benefits yet do quasi performance reviews on 'team calls' with your organization. Most organizations don't allow individuals to be contractors more than a year as it presents co-employment issues and also should trigger benefits to be paid. The exception technically used by the organization may be legal but the results are the same, exploiting cheap labor (mostly stay at home moms). In short, invest your hard earned money, time and capability in a job with real pay and benefits instead of ending up with a shelf full of nails that cost you money and generate millions in profits each year for Colorstreet.Thank you for the forum to share the reality of Colorstreet sellers. No doubt someone will hop on here later and share how much money they make in the pyramid scheme; it is a very small percentage of sellers who have actually grossed any significant profits after years of effort.Color Street, LLC

*****, thank you for sharing your opinions. We agree that this business is not for everyone;however, when you enrolled with Color Street, it was clearly outlined that you were joining as an independent contractor and not an employee. That meant you were not entitled to a salary or benefits. As indicated by the Independent Stylist Agreement, the Policies & Procedures, and the Income Disclosure Statement (that you acknowledged and agreed to), income and rank success is not guaranteed. This business is not easy, it is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It does take hard work, perseverance, continuous effort, and marketing know-how and still some earn very little while others earn nothing at all. After reviewing your business activity and account,we found that your account was deactivated after 6-months of little to no activity. Please understand that Stylists are not required to build a team. A Stylist may earn commissions on their personal sales to customers without having to recruit. Color Street does NOT pay anything on the act of recruitment, only on the sale of products as outlined in the Compensation Plan. Should a Stylist choose to build a team of like-minded entrepreneurs they are able to leverage the efforts and skills of others to have the potential to achieve greater success much the same as most sales teams. Additionally, there are no inventory requirements, so you should not have ended up with a shelf full of nails. There is a buyback program, if youd like to contact our *************************** for more details. For further transparency, the shipping rates we obtain for our customers and Independent Stylists do not include a kickback for Color Street. The limited release of products, which you indicated you found to be challenging, occurred almost weekly to help Stylists reach a wider range of customers who may be looking for that one item not provided in a previous promotion. There is no requirement for any Stylist to share these product launches, though sharing them may help with customer acquisition. As to touting financial freedom or independence, Color Street does the opposite by empowering a Stylist to review the income disclosure before enrolling. Full transparency is provided not only at enrollment, but throughout a Stylists journey since an Earnings Statement with similar details is also provided prior to training sessions, both via zoom and in-person.In closing, we do agree the direct sales channel is not for everyone. Yet for those who have that entrepreneurial spirit and want the flexibility to work around their current schedules with the potential to earn some extra money on product sales, direct sales just might be the right path.Review fromDestiny G

Started buying using polish strips about 3 months ago, as well as the amazing nail polish remover. Let me tell you my nails have never felt so good! The strips last and hold up to an immense amount of abuse from my job and hobbies. Ended up becoming stylist because I love and have faith in this product and can not wait to see what they bring to the table next! ??Color Street, LLC

Tried to become a stylist, but failed because you only have 9 months to prove your worthiness, and despite paying them $9.00 per month. You really have to be tech savvy as well, which I am not. I purchased 300 of their stylist business cards, which I am now stuck with. I thought this would help me meet people in the small town I'd just moved to, but did not succeed there either. I like the product, but do not recommend signing up unless you already know a lot of people and are a skilled technical business person. I feel deceived, and my older age did not help.Color Street, LLC

We are sorry to hear that **************** had an experience with our company that did not meet her expectations. Choosing to own your own business takes hard work, consistent effort, discipline, leadership and, yes, being somewhat tech savvy. When **************** enrolled, the expectations were outlined in the documents presented to her, including the potential income. Additionally, there are training sessions available for all new distributors, as well as social media groups in which to participate. In reviewing ************************** business account, we found that other than the initial purchase of the business kit, business cards, and subscription costs for her personal replicated site, there was zero activity and she did not have any customer orders to support her business. As per our Compensation Plan, an account will be deactivated after 6-months of inactivity. We will contact ****************, as we do not want her to feel deceived. Color Street believes in transparency from the time someone chooses to enroll.Review fromJa B

We are sorry to hear that ****************** contact list *** have been hacked. We reviewed ****************** customer account and history with ********************** and there are no recent orders. In fact, the last order received by **************** was on June 6, 2020. **************** stated in her review After purchasing, my contacts list was stolen". It is very important to understand that the Color Street system does not integrate with email programs, so there is no way for her contacts to have been imported by Color Street. All customers have an option during checkout to enroll for marketing emails. This is an OPT IN and would only happen if the customer chose to participate. It is not automatic. Again, there is no way for the Color Street system to access ****************** contact list from her email.Gina B.

I'd never heard of Color Street LLC until I looked at my banking app and saw 1 transaction for $19.29 withdrawn electronically on 2/14/23 and 2 pending transactions of $19.47 and $43.55 due to come out on 2/15/23. Unfortunately, I didn't see this until 5:08pm however, I am making telephone calls and will be at my bank bright and early in the morning.I researched what this company is or does and it seems to be something about finger nail polish. I don't have a clue of how they got my banking information but I want my money returned, then I'm closing the account. I am so angry right now!Color Street, LLC

We were very sorry to hear that Ms. ******* credit card was compromised. In review of the order information, it does appear that a third party used Ms. ******* card, placed three orders, and shipped them to three different addresses. Since the individual did have key information about the Ms. ******* credit card (CVV and postal code) there was no fraud immediately detected. We promptly contacted our fraud department and were informed that Ms. ******* card had already been frozen/canceled. If **************** disputed the charges, we will do everything to make sure the charges are reimbursed as quickly as possible.Review fromJoyce J

*****, we are sorry to hear you had some trouble with the application and wear of the solid nail strips and appreciate your feedback. Color Street takes great pride in our products and workmanship. Our products are produced in ******* in an *** approved facility, and we follow strict GMP guidelines. We did a search of our database and didn't find that you had contacted us about your experience. We'd like to try and resolve your concern. Our **************** team will be in touch with you to get some more details. For example, if you still have the batch number located on the packaging, we can review if there have been any other reports about products from that batch, as we retain samples from each batch made and investigate any product issues reported to continually maintain our high-quality standards. Someone will be contacting you soon to help resolve this issue.
