    My daughter dropped off her Mehndi outfit (bridal shower outfit) for dry cleaning on July 18th and it was promised by the next day. She took four outfits to be dry cleaned and asked the person at the counter if the outfits were safe to dry clean due to the beading and stonework. The person accepted two of the outfits and said they were dry clean safe and returned the other two. When my daughter went to pick up her two outfits they kept for dry cleaning the next day, she saw that there were many rhinestones missing and the glue from the back of the rhinestones had transferred and created spots on the entire outfit.
    At first the cleaners lied and said they did not even clean the outfit, even though it is clearly in a dry cleaned bag and clearly steamed and dry cleaned. If they had not dry cleaned it, the wrinkles from being in the intake bag would be evident but the outfit is steamed and cleaned. They then offered her $140.00 for their negligence. When I asked them to share how they came up with that amount and we had paid $500 for the outfit, the person on the counter called his manager on the phone and said they are not going to honor even the $140.00. I asked for evidence of the conversation and he said the manager said go call the police. I called the police to obtain a police report and the officer tried to see if they can offer the $140.00 and I would absorb the rest of the cost but they refused. I have eyewitnesses from the ceremony who can testify that the outfit had all the rhinestones and did not have the glue spots on it during our daughter's ceremony. I also have the outfit in the dry cleaner's bag showing it has been dry cleaned, even the police officer saw the outfit was in the dry cleaner's bag and he said he tried but there is not much he can do to help other than write the report for us to pick up. I am seeking only the cost of the suit which was $500.00. We can never get the suit back for her memories but we can purchase something similar.

    The suit was damaged by Any Garment Cleaners in June 2024. I returned to the cleaners with the suit, there was one employee that was shouting at me and denying it was their fault. When I brought the suit in for cleaning the collar was dirty only, it was returned to me with the collar being cleaned and the jacket having excessive damage I assume during cleaning and pressing.
    I have attached photos of the jacket in the condition it was returned. I demanded that I receive a refund for the cleaning and I am requesting additional compensation of $300.00 to replace the suit.
