      I placed an online order with H Mart on 8/31/2025. The order included refrigerated and frozen items, which the business committed to deliver in safe, consumable condition.

      When the package arrived, some items were damaged and some refrigerated/frozen items were completely thawed and spoiled. The company agreed to compensate me for the damaged products, but refused to provide any refund for the spoiled refrigerated and frozen items, even though they were unsafe to consume and had to be discarded.

      The nature of this dispute is that the business failed to deliver a significant portion of the products in the promised condition and refused to fully resolve the problem.

      I am seeking a refund of $155.37 for the spoiled refrigerated and frozen items that were not compensated.

      I had extremely bad experience on September 12, 2025, I have earned $20 reward from Hmart app, and I walked long way to this location to redeem my reward to a $20 voucher to be able to use next time, but none of the cashiers know how to process it, they told me only a manager at Customer Service counter can process this. I walked to Customer Service, nobody there! Then 1 employee told me manager was out to lunch won’t be back for another 40 minutes, and another employee said the manager is not coming to store at all today!!! This is NOT my first time walked to Hmart to redeem my rewards but Customer Service was closed! Another time I arrived the store around 7:15pm, and was told Customer Service is closed at 7pm; The manager just taking off, not doing their job WITHOUT delegating his /her task!!! They certainly have no respect for customer’s time!!! How convenient for them to take 1-2pm off and leave work early like 7pm!!! I also take lunch break between 1-2pm and I work late. Based on how they work, I would never get a chance to redeem my hard-earned reward!!! So I need this store to mail a refund check of $20 to me plus give me an additional $20 gift card as compensation for my inconvenience and loss of time due to their fault. It is certainly their fault because the store hour clearly says the store closes 10pm, not 7pm and the store hours on google map does not mention at all that Customer Service will be closed for lunch break!!! They posted false store hours caused me wasted my trip twice!!!

      I ordered items from hmart online on July 30,2025, with two items that are supposed to be frozen. They arrived on Monday, August 4, 2025 with the two frozen items NOT frozen, but completely thawed. I immediately took pictures of it and sent it to hmart's customer service portal on their website. I have since not heard back from them regarding this. I have tried calling their 800 number, but EVERY time someone answers, they immediately hang up. The two frozen items are bibigo frozen rice products. I contacted them on Monday about this and asked if it was still safe to eat. They recommended that I throw it away and that I do not consume it, because it is supposed be frozen, then cooked.

      To the Better Business Bureau,I am submitting this formal complaint regarding a suspected case of intentional overcharging at H Mart ******* location in ********, which occurred on the evening of July 19, 2025 at approximately 8:50 *********** Information:Business Name: H Mart Location: ********************************* Store: ************** Complaint Details:On the evening of July 19th, I visited the ******* H Mart to purchase a small number of grocery items:One bag of lychees at $1.99/lb One box of cherries at $2.99/lb Two boxes of enoki mushrooms at $2.99 each The total cost, as shown on the checkout screen, was approximately $23. My son used my credit card to pay. The cashier, a woman working at that time, bagged the items into a paper bag. However, no receipt was given or placed inside the bag.Upon returning home, I discovered that my credit card had been charged $180.20. This is an outrageous discrepancy. Given the missing receipt, the inflated charge, and the circumstances, I strongly suspect this was not an accident. It appears the cashier intentionally overcharged and withheld the receipt, likely to avoid detection.I immediately contacted H Mart via email, demanding an investigation, a copy of the receipt, identification of the cashier, and a full refund. As of the time of this complaint, I have not received any response.Resolution Sought:Full refund of the overcharge: $180.20 $23 = $157.20 An internal investigation by H Mart and appropriate accountability measures for the cashier involved Written apology and assurance that policies will be strengthened to prevent such misconduct in the future This is a deeply concerning experience that raises questions of consumer fraud and ethical practice.       I went to HMart at the Mayfair Mall location in Victoria BC June 11 2025 8:04pm. The price advertised vs what they charged at check out was not accurate. The price at checkout was almost double if not more than that of the prices listed on the items on the shelf.

      Very disheartening and dishonest. A misleading discrepancy such as that is something that affects not only a customers experience and whether they go back but it’s blatant false advertising..

      False advertising. Scam customer with low price tag on item,then charge a different higher amount and make up rules in order to get the advertised discount price.
      After we noticed the scam. The cashier ignored us and refuse to refund the difference.

      H-mart sells appliances (in my case a Cuckoo rice cooker) that do not carry a US-warranty. My rice cooker broke after 3 months of use. H-mart refuses to exchange the broken appliance. They are asking me to contact the manufacturer. I have tried to contact the manufacturer but they are not replying back. Their warranty department is based in *********. I am at a loss. All I am asking for is an even exchange.

      I entered this store recently and the security guards immediately began to be suspicious of me. They began following me. I picked things for about ************************************************************************************ from continuing shopping. He began pushing me to the front. I asked for the manager but he refused. I reached for my bag in their shopping cart and he stopped me. I said "That's my bag" and he kept saying "Where's your bag!" and pushed me to the front, tore open and destroying my bags and showed my things to an employee who shook his head a little to say that the things were not theirs. The guards were not satisfied and ripped my coat off and took everything out and showed them to someone who may be the manager. The manager shook his head a little bit to say that the things were not theirs, then left and returned. I asked him if he was the manager but he ignored me. The guards were not satisfied and still didn't let me buy anything and pushed me out. They were watching me the moment I set foot in, so they knew I didn't hide any of their things in my bags!Even after thoroly searching me, they still did not let me shop.The guards refused to let me speak with management.None of the others would admit to being the manager.
