    I scheduled an appointment for a Dryer Vent Cleaning . Cost $99 and a special was going on $20 off.I told the scheduler my washing machine seemed in need of balancing and I wanted my dishwasher's filter to be cleaned. She said it would cost an extra $100 each for those jobs. I said OK.When the technician ***** arrived and I told him I had called about a Dryer Vent cleaning, he said the cost was $199. I showed him the print-out from the website that said $99 and I told him that I had submitted a request to take advantage of $20 off. He said the person I had talked to on the phone was wrong, that the vent cleaning "started" at $99 and that she should be fired. He also said, "Why would I come here for a $79 job?" indicating it was a waste of his time. He said he'd have to go outside with snow on the ground with sneakers on and then have to come back in my house with the wet shoes. He showed me photos of a dryer that had caught on fire and said he could take my dryer apart to check. That would cost more than the $79 that I called about. I said No to that job. He finally agreed to clean the vent and went outside with a long brush to clean the vent from the outside. I had honestly thought that the dryer would be pulled out and some cleaning of the vent from the inside would be done. I called Appliance Master a few days later and asked if any cleaning was done from the inside as well as the outside and I was told it was. I asked if that would involve moving the dryer and I was told it ******** far as balancing the washing machine, He asked how long this was happening. I told his fairly recently. He said to make sure the loads are balanced, never touched the machine and I was charged $100. The machine still shakes.***** said I did not have a filter in my dishwasher. I have a grinder instead. No cleaning. $100 charged.When he was leaving, I told him it was an unpleasant experience. He then told me he was a volunteer firefighter and had seen dead people. Inappropriate.

    All of our calls are recorded for quality and training purposes. It was advised more than once during scheduling that $99.95 + tax was a starting price, and the customer acknowledged that it could be more depending on their venting. They were also advised there is a service fee per appliance to have it looked it, not to perform any repairs. No issues were found with the washing machine or the dishwasher. We received 2 calls from the customer after the service due to them having issues receiving their invoices via email. At no point during either conversation did they ask any questions about the services received or express any dissatisfaction. This review is an inaccurate depiction of what took place. We respectfully request it be removed.

    Sorry for the long review, but it is worth your time reading it if you are contemplating calling these clowns! I have never encountered such a rude and ignorant woman as I did on the phone today as I attempted to resolve a poor service call and $214.45 repair on my ** ice maker.As background, I called to have my ice maker repaired. *** service rep said I needed an "ice maker switch" and "up-sold" me to purchase a "water switch." *** parts were installed during another visit. Two weeks later the ice maker stopped working. I called and they said the original rep had injured his back and a that I would have to wait 2 weeks fro his return. I said I did not want to wait two more weeks and just send out another rep. *** new rep ******* showed up a few days later and was very angry he "....had to clean up someone else's mess!" I was shocked at his attitude and behavior. He said about the previous rep: "I can't get into his head but he should have replaced the entire unit because now it's going to cost you around $500 additionally for the new unit." I cannot really explain how rude and unprofessional this ******* behaved. I asked him to write up his proposal and send it to me so that I could discuss it with his management.After one week I did not receive anything from ***** so I called the office. *** above-mentioned operator would not even entertain my request for a refund or deduct the original costs from the new estimate of over $500. I asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold. She returned to tell me that the manager only responds to email and would not come to the phone! I reminded her I was the customer and would hate to take the matter to small claims court. She said "good by!"I have since found out that my neighbor also had an issue with *****.Read the other negative reviews! I wish I had!("************, As a business owner (If you are the owner I would be happy to discuss this matter before it goes to small claims court.... your folks have my number.
