About two months ago my daughter put down a large amount on a vehicle. Within a two to three week period the car broke down. She also purchased a warranty agreement for the vehicle. Later the vehicle was towed to a repair shop to find out what the issues were, cost out of pocket, and if it was covered under the warrenty. The car lot that she purchased the vehicle from had put some type of ** **** on a crack on the motor just to get it sold. The auto shop can not warranty the vehicle due to the negligence of the dealer and his mechanic. My daughter has worked hard just to make that down payment and now she has issues with getting her money back.Ride Now Motors

1 starGot approved for $500 down after they ran credit. Because they wanted $2500 down. Then I picked ima car I wanted and the salesman told me he couldnt sell that particular vehicle because he wasnt going to make any money off it. Just wow!Review fromIn W

1 starI dont recommend this car place to anyone purchase a 2020 ***** Malibu 12/21/24 to have it repo 12/28/24 they claim due to no insurance. This car has 2 vin numbers attached to it. I paid for insurance for a vin number that was listed on their website which she THE RUDE GM A***** claims she dont know where I got it from. I explained to her that the 1st vin was listed on the website not the 2nd vin that was given to me and thats how I got insurance on it before I picked up the car on 12/21. My car was repo from my sick grandma house in ** and I had to catch a ride back home to *********. When I got back I went to the office and spoke with her about the same vin situation. She swore up and down she didnt know where I got it from and if I wanted the car back I would have to pay all of these fees and a pay off. NOTHING in the contract say is anything about a payoff. I asked where it is and all she did was highlight and couldnt explain. She also claims that the vin that is attached to my insurance is incorrect and it is in another state. It is not it was brought from an auction and rebuilt due to an auto accident. I told her before I left the office I was turning over this information to my lawyer and I wanted my things out of that car. She give me the number for the repo and I left. A**** calls me later that day saying shes willing to give me the car back I just have to pay for repo fees which is $800 and my down payment that was due 1/4/25. I told her I need it in writing but I called my lawyer we discuss and I wasnt satisfied so I emailed A***** back and stated i did not like that option and would like missed pay of work due to having no vehicle and a whole refund back. She says regardless of the fact you still had no insurance since 12/21/2024 which I did but it was for the correct vin not the rebuilt title vin number. So Im just waiting now to go to court so this company can be served and stop ripping people off.Review fromKaheem D

5 starsPart 1: I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee on 09/26/24. On 10/5 the car service engine light was blinking on/off and every time we cranked the car up it hesitated to start. This is a push start car. I reached out to the service *** name ****** who sold the car to me on 10/8 to confirm what date and time I could bring the car in to be looked at. He stated to call and schedule a date for the service ***** and it could take 3-5 days to hold the car. I took the car to ride Now Motors (Mint Hill) on 10/11 and ****** placed the car on a diagnostic scale and stated it was just a sensor issue which would be an easy fix and to call in two days to schedule to bring the car. The engine light stopped blinking on/off and I continued to drive the vehicle since this is my only means of transportation. Then on 11/1 the car started running hot. I called ****** again to make the appt and parked the car all weekend because it was running hot, and I was scared to drive. He then had a tow truck called Xtreme Towing ) who came and pick up the car on 11/4 so they could fix the issue. On 11/15 received a call from Ride Now Motors stating that the car was eligible to be fixed and that the engine blew, and the new engine would be there later that day and car should be ready for pick up by Mon 11/18 or Tues 11/19. So, since Mon 11/18 I have been calling to check the status to confirm the pickup of the car and has been told by multiple people that the car is fixed just waiting on the warranty company to cut the check and then they can release the car to me. I've spoken to the ** name ****** on 11/20 explaining to her that this has been an inconvenience having my car and having to spend money on Lyft / **** and paying friends and family to take and pick me and my wife and kids up from work and school daily. Were spending so much money out of pocket and this shouldn't have happened in the first place havent even had the car this long.Review fromInfinity M

I dont recommend buying a car w/ this company, very unprofessional. paper tag expires in a week on 5/9/24 and they have yet to process my information on 4/29/24 stating we have 30 days to do so . they also dont have a 24hr turnaround if youre not satisfied with the vehicle, so make sure youre definitely satisfied before signing any paperwork. I had to miss work on my first 12 hrs of owning the vehicle because of an issue they knew of prior but didnt inform me of before making the purchase of the vehicle. the issue was of the ignition being switched so my key didnt unlock my doors and i had to call a locksmith to do so which resulted in a full day of work being missed. the company did pay for a new key fob and i didnt not have to pay out of my own pocket. I feel as if they are unprofessional because when i called to complain about the car and trying to return it, I believe I was on speaker because I heard employees laughing after every comment i made. I will be so excited when I am able to get rid of this car and end dealings with this company!Ride Now Motors

********************** purchased a vehicle on 04/09/2024 in ** we have 30 days to process her tag. She has called week after week regarding her tag. We have advised her we have by law 30 days to register her vehicle which she does not understand. We gladly took care of her issues on the same day she had the key issue which was something we did not know about til after the fact. We DO NOT put phone calls on speaker phones, its just an echo in the building. *********************** is just upset due to the fact that she wanted a different radio in her vehicle because she just does not like the one it has (OEM). She went to get an estimate for replacement on an OEM radio that works but did not suit her lifestyle and it was costing her over $1000 for her taste. She is also a SC customer which means she will have to pay her Personal Property Taxes 1st, email the receipt to dealer so they can go and process her tag in SC DMV. She wants a tag that I am unable to get until she provides the receipt for.Review fromShanae F

Terrible Experience ! & I was referred.. I dont recommend this rude a** company to anyone go to CARMAX! They showed me so much love there and I got into the vehicle I wanted less miles and lower down payment. Didnt need a co signer either with my bad credit keep in mind an employee at ridenow said that. They tried to belittle me and they kept my **** hold fee talking about no refunds wasnt even a whole 24 hours. It was transferable but wasnt refundable! In regards to ************************* review, I have complete footage to where no one in this office was RUDE to her as she says. She committed and signed to numbers that were all explained to her before she even signed the document and gave her deposit to hold the vehicle... Yes she did leave $1000 to hold vehicle for a pick up date of 02/10/2024. She then came back into the office and sat down again and restructured the deal to make it more feasible for her and she then agreed again on the 2nd set of numbers given to her. NO ONE tried or belittled her at all, we explained all numbers and process to her and were very forward and honest with her. False mission is when you are not explained numbers and hide stuff from the customer which we DO NOT DO... Deposits are Non-Refundable as it is explained to customers before we even accept the deposit. What ********************* is saying is FALSE.Review fromAntionette C

Bought a vehicle from them on 9/27. It hasnt even been a full month yet and they towed my car and said I owed them *****. I needed to pay for my tags and because of that they took my car. Ive read my contract and it never stated that Id get my car taken for tags. Because of that they took my away my loan. That makes no sense to me. My first payment isnt due until next month. This place is a scam. The woman I talked to was rude as ever. I will be fighting this and talking to my lawyer and reporting you every chance I get.Ride Now Motors

******************* purchased vehicle on 09/27/2022 a 2016 **** Fusion. She had a deferred payment of $505.00 that was explained to her at the time of closing, signed contract. We called her on various occasions, sent text and email and no response back. Yes she is now 16 days past due and was repossessed on 10/25/2022 due to breach of contract. The ABSOLUTE WORSE!! I purchased a 2014 Dodge Avenger 9/9/22 my down payment was $1200, there was a $600 fee for Taxes, Tag, that was to be paid 9/23/22 . Well on 9/23/22 I was on my way to work and my car started acting funny, it was idling high so I called Ride Now good thing there was a warranty on the car. So my car is towed 2 weeks to the day. I was informed it may be 2 or 3 weeks in the shop! "Ok well how am i suppose to get to work"...that was my question since there's no loaners & the Dodge dealership doesn't have any. I was informed they don't provide loaners. Ok well since $600 was for Taxes and fees I'll need to use that to get back and forth to work and home. They gave me 10 days which was 10/03/22 I informed I don't get paid until 10/6/22 can I pay then. Young lady said she'll have someone contact me and let me know. Well I never heard anything. So my car is ready on 9/30 I go pick it up & the mention of $600 10/3 I again stated 10/6 is when I get paid no one said anything against that. Well 10/5 I go outside from work and can't find my car. Im thinking I know they didn't come get my car for $600 and my car payment is not due until 10/7. Well they did and ****** (she's apparently the ** for both locations) who has to be the rudest, noncustomer service, unprofessional, nasty, sarcastic no compassion what so ever individual I've come across with ANY business. Informed me that I'd have to PAY OFF the car $14,***.** plus $550 repossession fee. So I asked my car was repossed for $600 Taxes &Fees. She informed me that in ** you do not have to be informed of a repossession but I haven't even paid my 1st note yet. How can you put that on my credit and I haven't paid ANYTHING towards the actual LOAN. I asked if I could please pay $600 plus my note ****** informed me again of the payoff. So I asked would I receive my $1200 back Ms.***** ******** said NO. So You're gonna resale that car Charge me for it and probably do the same to someone else. I feel asRide Now Motors

This place is full of lies and deceptive paperwork. I bought a car from her and within a month lights started coming on in the dash. I called and ******* the salesman told me if the lights come back on to let him know and they would take care of it. A week later my engine light, abs, brake and traction light all came on and stayed. I called and reported it and ******* told me I have to pay to get it fixed. I even would have to pay for them to run a diagnostic test on the car and the would keep it for 5 days. What the h*** kind of s*** is this. They sold me a lemon. If I'm not mistaken, their lemon laws against this s*** I will never recommend anyone to this place to get swindled and I am going to take further action on *******, the mechanic and the business. Customer purchased vehicle from ******************** on 03/05/2022 2014 Dodge Challenger. He called back on 09/08/2022 regarding a check engine light that has came on 6 months after the fact. ************** does have a POWERTRAIN 6mnth/6000 mile warranty whichever comes first on ********************** He would have to check with warranty company to see of he still qualifies for a claim on warranty depending on what the check engine light is reading. We recommended him to have the check engine light checked and also advised him we could also check it out for him with a diagnostic fee of $120.00 and if decided to get vehicle fixed here at Ride Now Motors he would have to drop it off for 3-5 days.
