The complex we lived in that is located in ***************** does not have a name. Redden Senter took over being the property managers in March of 2025.Due to personal reasons we wanted to move out in May, (our lease was up July 31,) I sent a email explaining our situation. They said they would speak with the property owner and get back to us. I sent that email on April 30th. 9 days later my dad had to call because they never responded. ***** stated things that she said was in our lease which was not.We told them in May 2025 that we would not be renewing our lease and would be out in the month of July.I sent ***** an email that stated the day we moved out and when it was convenient for us to do the walk thru. They would not drive out to do one, instead she had me email pictures, had to remind her 3x what size townhouse we had. Once should have been enough.Had me mail the keys back to them. Then we waited the 30 days to receive a notice if we weren't getting it back and why or just receiving it. I mailed out a letter after the 30 days demanding it back, ***** called my husband stating she will send out a check immediately after speaking with the property owner, 2 weeks later we received it, not the full amount so again back and forth for the remainder. Dealing with ***** at Redden Senter, she is the most incompetent person I have ever dealt with. I suggest any property owner looking for a management team to not hire them. Also while living in ******* they would send out emails about doing inspections sometime that week, and then the night before would cancel because "something came up", we reported a issue and it was taken care of 6 weeks later. They are more in the business of making money but once people realize how incompetent they are and how much they don't care for the properties they manage and loose tenants the owners will see them for who they are.

Our company assumed management of this property in March of 2025. At the time, there were numerous issues across multiple units that required attention. As part of the transition, we worked closely with the property owner to obtain approvals and prioritize repairs accordingly. There was a transition period while full management responsibilities were transferred to us, and unfortunately, we inherited a significant backlog of items that needed immediate attention.
During the tenancy in question, the resident experienced a very personal hardship and requested to terminate their lease early. We strongly recommended to the property owner that the tenant be allowed to break the lease with no penalties. However, as property managers, we must act under the authority of the owner, and the owner ultimately required that the leases early termination provisions be followed.
Regarding the canceled inspection, one of our team members contracted COVID-19 at that time. Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the residents health, we rescheduled the inspection rather than risk exposing others to illness. Additionally, following the tenants personal tragedy, we made every effort to respect their privacy and limit unnecessary intrusion, which is why some inquiries were handled through communication rather than in-person visits. Some inquires required multiple communications due to the fact we were receiving conflicting information from multiple sources and we wanted to make sure our records were accurate.
With respect to the security deposit, the owner initially instructed us to withhold funds for the condition in which certain appliances were left, as he had to incur additional costs to bring them back to usable condition. The tenant expressed frustration over this, and we went back to the owner to advocate for a full refund. We explained that if necessary, we would cover the difference ourselves. After discussion, the owner agreed to allow us to issue a new check for the full refund amount, which was done.
Throughout this process, we have conducted ourselves with professionalism and courtesy. We empathize with the personal challenges the tenant faced, and we did our best to balance their needs with the requirements and authority of the property owner. Ultimately, as managers, we are bound by the owners decisions, but we consistently sought fair and compassionate outcomes whenever possible.
