      Purchased 4 pieces of furniture(cocktail table, upholstered ottoman, metal table base & faux marble table top) on March 31, 2025 & was told it would ship in ************************************* full on April 15th. I authorized them to do an ACH payment for $5570.85 from my business checking account. Items shouldve shipped around the end of June. Items didnt ship in June. July 8th I was told everything was in except for the dining table top. There was a delay with the hand painting, but all items will ship in a week. Had a family ***************** check why my client hadnt received their furniture yet. September 8th told them I was beyond frustrated that the furniture hasnt shipped yet.(2 months late) I was told everything was in except for the cocktail table & that everything shipped, but the cocktail table. Stated I wanted to be compensated for extreme delay & for them selling my cocktail table to someone else. ***** ****** stated they do not compensate for vendor issues. (I was originally told they make everything in house in **************, now they are using other vendors) This is clearly a mistake on Sherrill Furniture/Hickory White not the vendor. Asked on the 8th why my cocktail was given to someone else? Never received an answer. September 10th dining table top was received damaged in 3 spots. I paid to have it fixed with Sherrills approval. I know have to mail a form to get reimbursed. September 30th sent another email to ***** *********** *** still havent gotten a response from either. Still dont have a cocktail table & other items are sitting at a delivery company waiting to be delivered.

      Attached is an email correspondence between ***** ******* of ************* and ***** ****** for Sherrill Furniture.

      The cocktail table in question failed QC inspection due to cracked stone. Sherrill Furniture produces most of their furniture domestically, however we do source specific products from other vendors (domestic and foreign). In this case, the product sourced is from an overseas vendor as it is made of metal and stone, two materials we do not, and do not claim to, produce ourselves. 

      The attached email has communications occurring AFTER the BBB complaint was filed, indicating the customer is satisfied with the communications and outcome. We are offering a table from our showroom at a 30% off discount. A value of $525.00. ***** responded positively towards this solution.
