Where are the dues going? For multiple years we have had no quarterly statements, no HOA meetings, the buildings are falling apart, and gutters have not been cleaned in years. They just went up on the dues.

Their accounting makes no sense; I pay my dues on time, and it's showing a $524 credit? I have yet to receive any notices about an assessment for the vinyl siding on our buildings. There's rolumors of an assessment, but no actual mailers or emails. I have never met the board of my HOA. Trying to find our who's on the board is like trying to solve an ****** ******** murder mystery. I still haven't received the budget from 2023, or what they're doing with my association dues in 2024. I feel like this company is shady; I'll see random fees for $17 when my dues are $231. Their explanations make no sense, and frankly I think the Attorney General needs to look into how they run the company. I hope they get shut down; in the year they've been in charge of my community, it's been pure h*** I don't like doshonesty, and something isn't right.

I am uncertain as to this owners concern. She has a credit on her account and it shows on her ledger. She continues to make payments, but that is not unusual in our type of business. I am uncertain why she is upset as her accounting is correct and she keeps making payments that we are not asking for. We began managing this community in January 2024 so I cannot comment about the past as we were not involved. The budget for 2024 and the Board members are on the portal that she uses to make her payments on. There are also monthly financials posted on the portal so she can see the finances of her association. As far as rumor of a special assessment, the Board is looking for ways to provide additional financing for the community. Once a decision is made by the ***, it will be presented to the community for approval. I am happy to speak with her directly and assist her. I can submit her account statement to ******************** for their review as well. HOAM does not determine what her dues are or a special assessment; however, we work with their BOD as well as the owners. They are a small association with a swimming pool and elevators in the buildings, which does take a lot of their finances to address those two items. Also, delayed maintenance is an issue and that's the reason for the possible assessment. If she wants a refund for overpayments, she simply needs to send an email and ask for that to be done. We are happy to assist if she needs further assistance.

It is strange that most folks only let their opinion be known when they are unhappy, wether justified or not. I have personally worked with ***** and HOAM as a hoa board member for over 3 years ( 3 years as president). Did we always agree and see eye to eye on all issues. NO We're all issues handled professionally with an acceptable outcome. YES I have reviewed and spoken to other management companies over the years and came away with the experienced knowledge that we can not do any better.I continue to fully support ***** and HOAM as out current management company.RUSH

I am only giving this company a single star because it is required. These people are totally unresponsive to phone calls, voice messages and emails no matter the criticality of the issue. If you do call, good luck on reaching the manager. They do not seek professional opinions. Requests get lost in their system. The homeowner has no way of knowing whether their requests have been read and responded to. As a homeowner, this just doesnt cut it for me.B.F.

This company is the worst. Since taking over our community reserve funds have gone down by more than 40 thousand dollars due to poor advice and them getting ** to waste money on ridiculous stuff. They encourage neighbors who volunteer for the board to walk around and site homes for violations and they encourage the community volunteers to prevent architectural requests. HOAM should be ashamed of themselves they should not allow board members to walk around the neighborhood looking to site people especially when certain neighbors dont like each other. They should also tell volunteers they can not prevent architectural requests just because or make up lies to tell people they cant make improvements to their home. They give very poor advice and waste a lot of money community money on ridiculous stuff.

HOAM, INC is bad; they assess damages to your account without letting owners use their home owners insurance. They send unqualified people to fix things and then they end up doing more damage, all while charging the owner. I have sued them and working on suing the HOA too. This is not a good management company and I would never recommend them.

This owner is involved in a legal dispute with her condominium association. HOAM is the management company for the association, and operates under the direction of the Board of Directors, in consultation with the association’s attorneys, consistent with the community’s governing documents and applicable North Carolina law. HOAM takes pride in its services and objects to any allegations that it has operated inappropriately. It would be inappropriate for HOAM to respond further to this complaint given the ongoing legal issues.

The judge clearly said during the hearing HOAM represents the HOA. Therefore, homeowners can sue the HOAM for poorly management. This company is fraudulent and several homeowners have ongoing suits with them
