    I purchased a 2020 ******* Elantra SEL from this place. Upon test driving it, I noticed the check engine light was on. I inquired about the light, and was told it was due to the battery dying, and them having to jump it off. Given that a battery isn't too expensive, and that they seemed like a decent company I believed them. Four to five days later the light came back on. I proceeded to take it to Autozone to have the computer read, to which I find that it wasn't the battery, but a cylinder 4 misfire. I asked them to print it so I'd have proof to show TR Motors, but when I showed them, the secretary asked "But it's running good, right?" I tried my best to not get upset as I explained that just because it seems to be running okay at that moment, that there is in fact an issue. They then decided to check it themselves, but just cleared the light. Nothing else. I ended up biting the bullet and getting it fixed. Everything seemed fine for 24 to 48hrs after that. However the light then came back on yet again, and when I took it this time to be checked I found out it's the catalytic converter. These people need to be investigated, because I honestly think they're crooks. All the proof is in their ****** reviews. I have tried to get them to help me but to no avail.

    We are aware that this customer was concerned with the check engine light. The car passed the ** Inspection in order for us to sale it. We also understand that there are many reasons that the light can come on.  As a small business, we pride ourselves on customer service & will do what is necessary to ensure the customer is satisfied when purchasing a vehicle.

    We put a warranty on every qualified vehicle for the customers interest. and benefit  This customer had an upgraded warranty.  We strive to help and asked the customer to return so we could diagnose the problem but they refused to do so by going to another auto parts store for diagnosis.

    For the best interest of the customer, we do ask when they have a problem, if the car is having any issues running for their safety.
