    This is my second one start review for palmetto solar. My first is from a failed inverter and the effort it took to get it replaced. I now have a roof leak. My contract states that the roof penetrations are covered for 5 years. Palmetto initially tried to say it was only covered for 1 year, even though the contract very clearly says 5 years. After they agreed the roof leak was actually covered, they opened a case for the repair. They stated I would be contacted within 24-48 hours as they take leaks very seriously. This was on 6/29/22. It is now 7/15/22, 16 days later and I still have not been contacted. I followed up with Palmetto and they are now saying I need to provide pictures of the leak. They asked I send the pictures to some generic help.com email address. This was never stated in the initial phone call. It was stated that the person who opened my case no longer works for the copany. They also would not give out the contact information for the person assigned the case number. This company is a joke and I believe I will have to take legal action against them.

    They are your best friends until the day the panels hit your roof. I am being billed for solar and my regular Duke energy bill at this point. Panels haven't been completely installed.

    They have absolutely no follow through. I signed up for solar panels this past Nov. The sales Rep Jamie Martin signed me up and after that little to no communication ; try talking to company and I am only getting the run around. Be careful with this company.

    Based on the two accounts, we are showing one cancelled and the other project is pending financing, which typically indicates that a credit check must be completed.     The worst Solar Company ever. They do nothing but lie to you. I have been waiting to resolve several issues with them for the past 2 1/2 years. Waited two years for 5 panels to be replaced. I also have paid double the price to them and Duke Energy due to the fact that they replaced a garbage inverter and never flied COC or had Inspection done. I called them so much that I am feed up. Called them about 10 times today and was hung up on at least 5 times. You can never get a supervisor because they are understaffed.. Don't ever use this company it is nothing but one great big head ache. I regret the day I ever signed for Solar with Palmetto Solar.

    Sales stage: Went great, very responsive said I would get rebates and the conduit painted the color of the house. Almost as if they only care about getting the panels installed and that's it. Post Installation: No contact, no rebates, and none of the conduit was painted. I've been given the run around and the sales rep kept saying they would update me but haven't heard anything since March 25th, 2022. Not happy with their service, wish I had gone with the other companies my neighbors got.
