In summary: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I wish I could give this company an even worse than 1 star review. Apart of Charlotte was the absolute worst moving company I have ever used - they single handedly ruined our moving day and ended up costing us an additional $300+ in moving related expenses. They also broke multiple items of ours, ruined furniture pieces by dragging them down our driveway, they showed up to the job not prepared to work (hungover), and they were extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. I paid for a 4-man crew and as it turns out, only 2 of them were "qualified" to be moving heavy items. The worst part - Their team lead and secondary lead BOTH told us AT LEAST 3 times that we should cancel our second moving truck because they would be able to fit all of our items on just our first truck, so we did, and then not all of our items fit in our first truck. They hadn't loaded ANY of our furniture when we had 30 mins left on our contracted time with them, and we had to ask them 5+ times to make sure all of our furniture was at least down the flight of stairs and in our garage before they left. They were very, very clearly trying to avoid doing the difficult part of the move. Because of their lack of expertise and horrible direction regarding our second moving truck, we had to scramble to find another truck AND pay them overtime because we obviously ran over time dealing with this whole ordeal, which they single handedly caused. This company was absolutely atrocious and I will be contacting BBB and writing them a separate review. This company was a complete waste of our money, they broke items, furniture, and ended up costing us significantly more in moving expenses due to their unacceptable service. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!!!
