      On April 13, 2023 I took my vehicle to Take 5 on ****************, ***** **. for what I thought would be a routine oil change but instead has turned into a nightmare. During the oil change there seemed to be "on the job training" going on. When they completed the oil change I left for a Doctor's ***** close by. When I finished that ***** I started home but my oil pressure light came on, so I returned to the Take 5 location which was close by. They said we will replace the oil with a better grade for no charge which I thought was odd. When they completed that I started home and before too long my oil pressure warning light came on again and then the engine died leaving me stranded. I called the manager there and he came to my location but offered no real explanation as to what happened. It seems obvious that while I was at the Dr. **** the oil leaked out due to shoddy workmanship and that is why they replaced the oil on my second visit. I had to have the vehicle towed to my mechanic and he has informed me that my engine is ruined. The replacement cost for a new engine is 14K. Take 5 is not returning phone calls or answering emails.

      Appr Code: ****** Transaction ID: **** April 25th, 2023 10:11 am I went to TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE #**** for an oil change on my 2021 *** 330i VIN: *****************.When the service was about to be completed, one of the technicians advised me that the oil plug was leaking and it was loose. I was surprised to hear this because my car is a new model. The software program on the dashboard is completely synced to the app I have on my phone. I would have received an alert that something was wrong with the oil plug if this were the case, I never received any notification or alert. In addition, I never had oil stains in my garage. The service was completed at 10:33 am and I went back to work. The next day, on April 26th, 2023 at 5:14 am I started the engine and I immediately received a message *********** is critically low" I checked underneath the car and there was a big oil spill. I called the TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE at ********* and the technician claimed that the oil plug was already damaged and he hung up on me. However, the last three oil changes have been performed by this company at three different locations. One in *******, ***** and the other one in ******, *****. If the oil plug was indeed damaged then it was caused by one of your shops. I have proof that the oil changes were performed by this company.At this point, I want to get reimbursed for the amount of money I paid for the oil change and any additional repair charges. My vehicle was taken to the dealership for repairs. I must be compensated for that.

      On 12/15/2022 I went to Take 5 **************************************************************************. The techs ****** and ******* serviced my **** I was unaware at the time they had overfilled my car with oil. On 04/24/2022 I went back to the same Take 5 to get an oil change and was advised by the manager ****** that in December my car had been overfilled instead of 9 quarts i Had at least 13 or more. I stated what if my engine had went out. That wouldve been thousands to fix he agreed. I then requested to speak with his manager because I felt I needed a refund. ****** agreed stating he didnt have the authority to give refunds but he would contact his district manager ****. He called **** with me there and I was advised **** would call me ASAP. I waited for a return call from 8:30am until 4:00pm. I ended up calling back being advised 2 other times that **** would call me asap. I didnt speak with **** until 04/25/2022 after 10:00am he called with a tone that wasnt professional. He started off the conversation wrong by stating he cant do anything about December 4 months later. I advised him that it wasnt my fault in December that it was overfilled but, as the district manager he shouldve apolgized and had more empathy of what couldve happened. I advised him per the receipt we are to contact them about refunds. I felt like he was trying to push back with me about something his manager advised me. The conversation turned when I advised I would be sending this to BBB and ****** review because I didnt feel like he was taking any accountability for the persons mistake. Again my engine didnt blow but, what if It had. I felt that I shouldve been offered December and April refund for customer satisfaction. He bgin to advise me that he wasnt going back and forth with me because he had his own personal problems he was going through. I felt that was unprofessional. His personal problems have nothing to do with mr ******* a full refund. I want him to refund me December and April. He is very disrespectful.

      Took in to have recheck and the tec broke dip stick in the tubing then told me to go to orailys to by dipstick knowing you just can't do that so now I have to pay for there breaking my car and a high price oil change

      On 04/20/2023 I took my 2019 VW Jetta to Take 5 Oil Change @717 FM ********************************* Store # **** @ 4:05pm cst. to get an oil change and I also agree to purchase a new air filter that day as well. The crew who provided the services were *********(Hood) *******(Mgr.) *********(Pit/Mod). O n 04/21/2023 I left to go out of town and started to hear a very loud sound under the hood of my car. So I pulled over @ an gas station in ****** ,**. Once I raised up the hood on my car I notice that a screwdriver was left up under my car just sitting there. I had to located a VW dealership in the area due to the loud noise. Once I was able to get my car there the service tech @ *********************************** in ******, ** stated he found the under carriage shield to be jammed into the fan shround housing from a previous service ground down the tabs that lines the tray to the vehicle. So I had to pay out of packet ****** to be able to return back home. I called to speak to ******* the store mgr. and he was very rude and unapologetic he was very quickly to say they were nit responsible for the damage without allowing me to explain the issue after the dealership tech rep emailed over pictures and documentation ******* then said that he would get back to me the next day and he never did.

      27th ********* change, spent $113 thinking professionals are handling what they know how to do. Didnt get a paper or anything which makes me now think it was in purpose since he admitted to overfilling. Drove from the oil change place to ********* and car started rattling and making noise and oil spilling everywhere. Oil was everywhere. Fiance went to check the car and discovered that the oil was overfilled.Called take 5 Employee admitted to overfilling and told ** to go to the closest one to ********* which is ********* take 5.Car barely drove there and sounded horrible the whole way Employee there checked oil and said it was completely overfilled.Employee called someone and told ** to leave the car there and they will put it in the shop and take care of it . We waited a few days and drove back to the take 5 in ********* just to see that the car was still sitting there and we were told we have to contact the take 5 in *********************** to find out whats going to be done. They handed ** the car keys on the way out. Went on the *********************** take 5 . Spoke with take 5 manager (recorded) and he told ** that the district manager was notified and we will be hearing from them.A week later, no phone call so we stopped by again ( recorded) and were told the same thing. We asked for the contact information of district manager and it was ignored and again we were told that we will be contacted. It is now going on 3 weeks of no kind of contact from take 5 concerning this issue. My daughter has now lost her babysitting job which was her source of income. 4/18/23 we stopped by AGAIN and were told our claim was denied and there is nothing they can do. Figures. How are you denying a claim and say its not your fault when nobody has even looked at the car..like I said they gave ** the car keys. Nobody takes responsibility for putting hard working people into situations. Court here we come.

      On April 12th, 2023 I received an oil change at Take 5 Oil Change (Battlefield Blvd location). I drove my car home and to work the following day making no additional stops. Once I left work, I noticed that my oil light was on. I wasn't sure what could be the problem, so I decided to head back to Take 5 Oil Change to have them take a look it is. Not even 5 minutes into my drive, my engine fails why attempting to accelerate over the **************/onto the highway. My car would not restart and the engine have a knocking sound. I waited over 6 hours in the cold for a tow, until I was towed by VDOT to a holding lot. The following day, I had the car looked at by Tire Choice, who advised that my dealership would need to take a look at it. I then towed the care to ********************** in **************. At this time, my dealership was hesitant to place blame on Take 5 and opted to see If the warranty would cover it. After a month of waiting, the dealership advised that an oil drain plug was found in the oil filter housing causing the engine to fail on April 10, 2023. I have since attempted to make contact with Take 5 and have had no luck seeking resolution since the initial incident. The organization also does not allow for you to seek higher resolution through corporate. The phone numbers provided all lead to call centers who are unable to assist in the matter. I am seeking repairs/monetary resolution. I have asked for the organizations internal claims process on multiple occasions and have not received a response of the process to date or any update on handling.

      My grievance is the result of a technician improperly installing the skid plate on my ****** 4Runner following an oil change conducted in the middle of March. Approximately one week following the service at this station I noticed my skid plate leaning very low on one side. After inspecting the skid plate, it was obvious several bolts were missing or broken off. I immediately called the station to inform them but received no answer. I then contacted customer service who told me to drive my vehicle (with the skid plate dangling by two screws) back to the location of service. Now, fast forward one full month to April 14th. I went and spoke with the Manger there that ********************, only to find out that the wrong bolts were ordered again (they had ordered the wrong bolts four prior times at this point). He informed me he would go to the store himself and purchase the correct bolts. Several hours later ****** called me and asked for my vin number to ensure he bought the right bolts. I was then informed by both ****** and ***** that the correct bolts were purchased and were waiting at the shop, and that I could come in on Saturday, April 15. I showed up on Saturday, April 15, my sixth trip to the shop, only to find out the wrong bolts were ordered again. I have yet to be contacted by anyone to solve this issue. I also have lost all confidence that your store can perform the work necessary to fix the issue. As such I will be taking my vehicle to a ****** service department to have it properly serviced by trained technicians. I will then send the bill to the Take 5 Shop that performed the work. I hope you will honor your work, and your mistake, and pay for the work performed to remedy your mistake.

      April ****** took my car into take 5 oil in ******* they said they did the oil change, but on Monday my car stopped and the engine light came on. I called them the asst ****** was coming to me, but after a long wait my wife bought some oil I put it in to get home. On Tuesday I took my car back to them they told me the my radiator was bad so it drained the oil. This is not true they lied to cover up there mistake. I have tried to just get my money back but they will not return my calls.

      5 minute oil change told **, Buick requires synthetic oil in our car. NOT TRUE. They put synthetic oil in our car. The sticker they put on the windshield, stated , change oil in **** miles. They lied or put regular oil in our car. Synthetic oil life is **** miles to ****** miles. NOT ****. So, I am not sure; is it **** miles or **** miles to change oil again. I paid $111.25. Now in ****, I MUST change my oil because 5 Minute oil change lied. I can not take a chance of blowing up my engine because they lied or will say, Oh, it just a typo, drive it ****** miles, it will be okay.

The sticker that the provide you ****s the 3000 mile **** from when the oil change is performed due to us providing customers a free top off. The top off policy states that customers can come to get a free top off if they are within the 3000 miles or 3 month window, whichever comes first. I do hope this clears things up a little bit and I do apologize about the inconvenience and concerns.
