1 starThis business is run as if a hamburger stand: "NEXT".On 05Jun24, I scheduled with my PCP, Dr. ******* **********, the collection of specimen for an appointment with my ****************** *******, on 12Jun24. On 11Jun24 I received, at work around 1000, a call from my Urologist to inform me that the did not received results from LabCorp. Immediately I called my PCP and nurse *** informed that the specimen was collected accordingly, on 05Jun24. Nurse *** called LabCorp and she was informed that my specimen was not received for processing. This 7 (seven) days after collection. I then asked her if we could collect, using another Lab, so I could meet my appointment. I then left work, loosing paid time, went to my PCP, had my specimen collected again. On 12Jun24, as I checked in at my **************** form appointment, the nurse informed that two results were received: one collected on 05Jun24 and another on 11Jun24.LabCorp is now billing me, alleging services were rendered.I called their customer services (not in capital), spoke to ****** trying to communicate with them and even asked for a name of a person responsible in these matters. No-one available. i wrote a letter explaining this service failure, when someone on their lab, acting on a ***** mode, found my specimen, processed and sent to my Urologist without having the professional courtesy, to say the least, to inform my doctor's ********** can one possibly trust the chain of custody of this Business, would you? This is why this Law abiding citizen, whose credit score is impeccable is refusing to pay for this bill of US$ ******. Services were not rendered and Lab Corp is sending me to collection.***** *************Review fromJohanna M.

1 starI needed a blood test within a week and a half, so I went to the walk-in lab in ***********, **, with doctor's orders. However, when the test results were needed, the record that Labcorp had seen me in *********** was confirmed, but the bloodwork results were lost.Review fromAugie L

1 starAn absolute waste of time trying to come here. The machine that you are supposed to check in with because nobody is actually working at the front desk does not work. I had to figure out how to check in manually and then at the end it tells you to wait wherever you are comfortable because they will text you when they are ready for you. Since there were about 30 people waiting, including people standing all along the walls, I went back downstairs to my car to wait for a text. After 45 minutes I came back up just to check and since there's nobody working at the desk, I had to ring the doorbell. No one came, but after about 5 minutes the lady opened the door to call the next patient. She had no intention of helping in any way but I said I had checked in manually a long time ago and I wanted to confirm it worked because I haven't received any text. She got attitude and said she probably called me already and I would have to check in again and wait. Mind you, why would you catch attitude from me asking a very legitimate question after being instructed to wait for a text from the system? I'm the customer here, is there no customer service? Her excuse was that she's working alone which really isn't my problem and she wasn't bothering to send texts. But if you're working alone, wouldn't using the technology that is supposed to streamline operations make it easier on you and be more efficient? Isn't that the point of it? I went to check back in and then came to the conclusion that I don't want someone that dumb or with that much attitude sticking a needle in my arm. Finding out where I can get this done other than a LabCorp.Review fromCraig W

1 starUsed Labcorp in the past and had results the next day. They charged me for routine lab work 13 days ago and I have not received results. Good thing it is not an emergency. No phone number to call if you do not receive results. Very poor company that is obviously very poorly run. 13 days for routine lab work?Review fromPamela R

1 starLABCORP continues to request payment from me when getting my lab work. The balance that belongs to a similar name in a different state. I have called Labcorp customer service several times and they say this happens all the times and that there software cannot tell who is who. The person that has a balance due since 2020 up to recently 2024 with the exact same name (no middle initial) and birthdate. They will not correct or help me settle the name difference. Each time i go to get Lab work they tell me I have a balance due. They suggest to tell the lab techs to call customer service. But they will not. Like I said this has been going on since 2020 and LABCORP customer service will not help.Review fromJOANNE G

1 starI have called labcorp 4 times back to back today to pay my bill and they have hung up on me 4 times as soon as I speak. How do they expect you to pay your bill when their customer service/call center is horrendous.Review fromShauna C

1 starI have used Labcorp in the past without issues, however, my experience in September 2024 was a ***** difference. The check in area is dingy, dim, and doesn't appear very hygienic. The staff were cold and appeared to be inconvenienced when interacting with patients. The particular staff member I worked with was hidden by a computer monitor the entire interaction, leaving only his forehead visible. Not only was it an incredibly unfriendly interaction, his monitor blocked his view to the lab papers I had provided him on the desk. My labs were run efficiently and I received my results in a timely fashion, however, they were not submitted to my ordering doctor. This was not communicated and I had to reach out to find out they hadn't been shared and it was my responsibility to download the results and send them to my doctor; this has never been the case prior. Through my secure email correspondence with Labcorp, they shared my email with another patient (so much for secure email...). The only reason I found out was because the patient responded and notified Labcorp they were not me, copying me on the email, stating that this was an alarming mistake. Labcorp did not respond to the email. I inquired further, taking the other patient off the email, and they did not respond. They have ignored 3 separate emails, completely ghosting me and taking no accountability for their breach of confidentiality.Review fromLIONEL B

1 starI was very specific in asking how much the test would be. She gave me a estimate of $25. Turns out the test was $950. Now they want me to pay up and say oh you can make monthly payments. I on a fixed income. I have no extra money each money. Even then I think they did this deliberately. If the lady at the front would have said the test is $950 I would have walked out and Labcorp would have lost the sale. Turns out the $25 was the exact amount for the needle puncture charge. The lady at the front desk made a mistake and they are making me pay for her mistake.Review fromSamuel H

1 starIn March of this year, I got a flu test through an emergency clinic that was not & is not associated with LabCorp in any way, shape, or form. I do not know how LabCorp received the details of this visit. I paid for the flu/covid/strep test in the office, and with an insurance copay. LabCorp has not only been insisting for months that I owe them money, but they are also now threatening my credit score. Moreover, the people responsible for the letters of notification have blatantly lied on their letters about when they were sent. The first two said April and May respectively, yet I did not receive either until the end of June. The most recent, which is also only the third, said August 19, yet I did not receive it until September 11. This is a predatory group of people. I can not call them a company in good conscience, considering the amount of lawsuits they have faced for their predatory practices.Review fromWill L

1 starSubmitted my account to collections agency within a month of the laboratory service, without notice. I work for the healthcare system they now service. The collections agency also comes up as spam. So, without knowing I've been blocking the collections agency spam calls, while a bill which I already paid has increased. No way to contact, no way to know. Not only got double billed, but had "delinquency fees" associated with it... Again on a bill I already paid. No option but to pay. Extortion from my own healthcare system providers, enough to make me change my insurance from the system I work for to someone else.
