Cleaning person broke toilet paper holder out of the wall. She told me Better Life Maids would take care of getting it fixed. Now they say it is up to me to get it fixed and they will take the cost off my next cleaning bill. So now its up to me. I think this is bad business.

On April 23, 2025, one of our team members, *** ****, was cleaning Ms. ********* ****** home in ************. While cleaning the bathroom, Ren accidentally dislodged the toilet paper holder, which caused minor drywall damage. Ren immediately informed both our office and Ms. ****** assuring her that we would make things right.

Our office manager, ****** ********* promptly reached out to Ms. ***** to confirm that we would cover the cost of repairs or replacement, as is our policy. While we typically ask homeowners to arrange repairs due to personal scheduling preferences, we wanted to be flexible and offered Ms. ***** three options:

Apply a $300 credit to her account to cover repairs.
Arrange a repair service on her behalf.
Send her a check for $300 to cover repair costs.

Ms. ***** chose to work with her own handyman and later provided an invoice for $135. On May 1, 2025, she requested that this amount be credited to her account, which we promptly applied.

We believed the matter was resolved at that point. For transparency, we have records of the communications, invoice, and applied credit.
We value all feedback and remain committed to handling situations with care and fairness.

I live in **********, **. I hired Better Life Maids to execute a deep cleaning at a recently deceased relative's home. That address is *************************************. Other than a couch, a desk, and a 10X10 area of one bedroom, the house was completely empty. That service was provided on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. During the cleaning day, my realtor stopped by, and found the two women sitting on the floor on their phones. We decided since it was around lunchtime, to reserve judgement. I returned a few days later, and discovered that the only things cleaned were the fans. I had left items in the home that would have been moved had the home been cleaned. At that time, I called the business and requested a resolution. Either reimbursement of funds, or another appointment doing the job I had already paid for. The only thing I was offered was a $50.00 credit to my Discover Credit card.I expressed that did not solve my problem. I was told that $50 amount was all I was ever going to receive. At that point, I left a negative review, which I normally do not do. That review is not visible on the businesses website. I am about to report that to ******* I am seeking a full refund.
