  The representative was great, and most of the work was fine. The problem was they were to replace gutter guards damaged by hail. The first REMOVEDdid a terrible job and the guard started to collapse into the gutters within days. They had also done an unsatisfactory job on our garage and we brought it to their attention before they were done. Buit they said there was nothin gthey could do. I complained and REMOVEDrepresentatives came, and after inspecting, decided to redo the whole project. The new REMOVEDd corrected the garage, but the rest og the gutter guard was simply installed the same way. The matertial is cheap and the installation is poor. Would not use John Beal again for any project.

  I hired them to repair the roof on a small house I own in REMOVED. It had some storm damage and ended up needing a new roof. However there were other problems and not just the roof by itself that needed to be fixed. After the roof was replaced they never came back to do the remainder of repairs (etc the gutters, siding, a window that needed to be wrapped). In addition the roofers were standing on top of the patio cover and dislodged it from the house. I called, I sent several emails to the crew chief and I called the office who said they were going to talk to management. Here it is almost three months later and I have no response, nor has the work been completed. I did pay for the roof and I did have another company replace the gutters

  John Beal just put a roof on for me but we had some issues that came up more than after the contract was signed, first it took more than two months before they got to me and when they did this water and ice trim had to be done which was supposed to be code and it had to be done, but when my insurance company look into it found that it did not apply for my area but insisted they had to do it, so they substituted removing my gutter guards to cover this cost. this code should have mentioned at the beginning they waited more than 3 business days before they come up with this, now JB put the roof that i have on about 16yrs ago so i go back to them and this is what they do. We talked about not replacing REMOVEDhe told me they would not have to replace any wood. they did not come to and say they found bad wood they did not show me any pictures are anything, the right way to do it, and charged me because the insurance wouldn't cover it. so i had to pay out of pocket $3500. Just saying, if JB cant sit down and go over details with you go somewhere else, don't give them a dime and definitely don't sign anything.$3500 that hurt!! I REMOVED

  We hired John Beal to install a residential roof due to storm damage. When our estimate was given and we agreed, we were not advised that John Beal had subpar contractors in REMOVED. Our roof or portions of, has had to be replaced 2 times now because of the poor work that was done. John Beal has now come out again to review the work on the 3rd "fixes" and is now blaming poor work on the company that replaced our gutters. We have pictures of the "overhang" of the decking before the gutters were installed so once again, this is the fault of John Beals contracting. We were not told about "subpar" contractors in REMOVEDuntil the 2nd or 3rd time our roof was not properly repaired and we told John Beal, if you knew that your subcontractors were not good, then why would you continue with our contract. It boils down to "all about the money". I highly suggest that if you have had recent work done by this company, hire someone to climb up on your roof and check it out. I had 3 properties that the roof work was done by John Beal and one of them, there were vents pulled out and then covered with shingles which has now been fixed but it should have never happened. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEIR WORK AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND HONESTY IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE.

  We had the best experience! REMOVEDwas amazing to work with. He kept in constant contact and let us know everything that was going on along the way. We cannot recommend them enough and thank them for the help and awesome job they did on our siding and roofing.

  In November 2023, I hired John Beal Roofing to install a new roof and roof deck on my home. As part of the installation, they added roof vents to areas with a low slopenearly flat in some sections and approximately a 2:12 pitch in others. I trusted their professional judgment and expected the work to meet industry REMOVEDMay 2024, the roof began leaking. I contacted John Beal Roofing immediately. A representative came out and stated that the issue was due to flashing around the chimney. They performed a repair; however, this did not address the active leaking from the roof vents.Since that time, I have made multiple attempts to contact the company and have sent photos each time the roof has leaked. While they initially acknowledged the problem, they eventually referred me to their attorney, who has never responded to any of my REMOVEDof today, the leaks continue. My veteran son's bedroom now has visible mold due to water intrusion, and a recent storm has worsened the damage. Despite the escalating severity of the issue, I have received no further communication or action from John Beal Roofing.I am requesting the assistance of your office in holding John Beal Roofing accountable and ensuring the necessary repairs are made to prevent further damage and health risks.

  One large corner of my roof is a different shade than the rest. I complained about it immediately after installation and was told it will fade with time and match. About 5 years have passed and the roof shingles still are different shades. I should have insisted they fixed it before I paid any money.

  We both highly recommend John Beal Roofing; they do a great job and they’re easy to work with. John Beal roofing is our go-to roofer! They’ve helped us with storm damage over the years and installed a beautiful new roof on one of our rental properties. We are extremely happy with the beautiful new roof they just installed on our forever home, the roofing crew was fantastic, and their attention to detail is impressive. I want to say a special thank you to John Beals representative, REMOVED REMOVED for making the process easy, communication effortless and being there for us every step of the way. Thanks again, we’ll be calling you as soon as we’re ready for the new siding project on our home!

  Please just do yourself a favor and choose a different contractor. Dont be fooled by the positive reviews and look deeper into the complaints filed. Working with John Beal Roofing was incredibly frustrating. They did low quality work and were unorganized. They lied on many occasions and left damages to my property. Their crews never cleaned up, leaving nails and debris on the driveway. They messed up twice on installing siding and drip edge. Overall, just a nightmare. Would never recommend them and regret spending my money on them.

  Very happy with John Beal and their service. Their reps, including REMOVED were professional and personable. It was very easy to contact them with questions and receive same day responses. Their roofers and gutter crew did a great job with the installation and clean-up of our property. Would recommend this business.
