On July 25, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business filed eight residential mortgage loan activity reports and one financial condition report late and filed to file a residential mortgage loan report and a financial condition report, violations of Minn. Stat. 58A.17 (2022). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to pay $1,000.00 of a $7,000.00 penalty, with the balance stayed on the condition that the business has no further violations of any law, rule or order under MN Dept. of Commerce authority. The business also agreed to file the reports and to cease and desist from violating any laws rules or orders under MN Dept. of Commerce authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
