- Additional Info:On March 28, 2014, the owner of Book It! Travel informed BBB their company name had been appropriated by unknown parties who then created a separate website with a similar web address - www.bookitravel.com. A complaint BBB has received from a consumer alleges this unknown entity contacted them via a robocall (a pre-recorded automated message) - which are illegal - telling them they had won a cruise. Book It! Travel, located in Minneapolis, is not associated with that website or any phone calls of this nature. BBB advises the public to be very leery in regard to phone calls stating you have won a trip, as many people nationwide are defrauded each year by suspect travel offers such as this. The owner of Book It! Travel says they have been contacted by consumers who followed up on the calls they received regarding their "free" cruise and reported they had been asked to pay anywhere between $100 and $200. Robocalls should be reported to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222.
