      ***** Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 09:17:57 PM EST Subject: Re: CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION FORM - USA FAMILY MOVING Good evening *****, I'm just getting back home in Buckhead from my sister's home in *********, where your team came late, after having gone to the wrong address, and decided that they were NOT going to move any of the stuff from the lawn, because it was considered too much. I specifically asked you and everyone else to please have sensitivity to the situation, because it was my mother who lives there, and the eviction wasn't expected by her. Imagine having to stand outside as everything you own is dumped on the lawn in front of your neighbors and you weren't even permitted to get dressed out of your night clothes, and your son calls and tells you that the movers will be there around 2:30 to gather everything, and they show up late, never getting out of the truck, and then leave.How much more drama has that just added to your day? ******************** from your office called me and told me that they will send 2 trucks and 6-7 men tomorrow morning, which means that everything is sitting outside all night long. I was charged for a "Same day" fee. I was told that you could pick up the materials unpacked, which turns out not to be the case. I had to sign all of the docs that you sent over and we started out with the wrong address given to the movers and then they arrived appearing to have been smoking weed like they were high. I need to be contacted in the morning to work through all of this financially, because I feel as though this was a good trap to set me up to have to spend more than was originally discussed and/or necessary. I chose your company to deal w/a family emergency and now feel like you've helped to contribute to the nightmare. Unhappily, ========================================================================The above was the email I sent before they made it right by charging me $8000.02 the next day w/o a quote ttl.

      To Whom It May ********** are in receipt of ********************** review. ****************** contacted our office on 12/08/22 @ 12:24pm to conduct an emergency same day move for his mother, Miami, who was evicted from her home and her items were already sitting outside on the lawn. All items were being move to a storage facility. At the time of his conversation with our Sales Director, *****, he was advised that we only had a 3 men team and 1 truck available and they would be able to arrive between 2:30pm and 3:30pm. He was advised that our hourly rate for a 3 men team and 1 truck would be $189.00 per hour and once our 2 hour minimum was met he would be billed by the quarter hour after that. ****************** asked that since the items were already on the lawn if they needed to be packed- he was not specific if he was referring to household furniture or household items like dishes/silverware, clothing, bathroom items, knick knacks, decorations, etc. Normally homeowners/renters are AWARE that they haven't been paying their monthly mortgage and/or rent payments so when they are evicted it is not a surprise but expected- unlike to what ********************** review states. With this said defaulted consumers prepare for the eviction when it takes place. Defaulted homeowner/renters prepare by either packing their household items ahead of time- sometimes even by using garbage bags and/or by hiring a moving company to conduct the packing of their household items and/or the county or the sheriff's office hires a moving to move the items from the dwelling onto the lawn. Based on the aforemention, ***** advised ****************** that a release of liability form would be necessary. Basically, this form minimize our liability should the items placed on the lawn by whomever sustained any damage that we would not liable for the damaged furniture- in addition ****************** did not want any items protected. A deposit was collected and the crew was dispatched.The crew arrived at 4:00pm and upon their arrival the 3 men crew knew that they were not prepared at all for this move. They did not have the proper man power, needed more than 1 truck, and needed packing materials. The crew lead called our Operations manager, *******, and advised him that this was not a normal eviction move and provided pictures and video of the scope of the job (we can provide the pictures and video to you via email for your review)- a picture is definitely worth a thousand words if not more in this case. Once our Operations manager reviewed the pictures he knew that this situation required a 8 to 10 men team, 3 trucks, and a ton of packing materials. Unlike other evictions this homeowner/renter had not prepared at all for this eviction. All household items like dishes/silverware, clothing, bathroom items, knick knacks, decorations, etc. were all over the lawn. Furthermore, dressers, cabinets, buffets were moved out to the lawn with items still inside of them. Besides being unprepared we could not start this project at 4pm since this move would easily take at least 10 to 12 hours to complete.****************** was advised and an agreement was reached that ****************** would rent a truck and pack and move what they could the evening of 12/08/22 and that we would send out 8 men and 2 trucks the following day along with packing materials. The crew's missions were to pack and salvage as much as possible that had been tossed out and in furniture items, to ensure that all furniture and household items were removed from the lawn by 3pm on 12/09/22 per the sheriff's order and to beat the rain that was on the forecast.On 12/09/22 ****************** was advised of the increased hourly rate of $499.00 per hour due to needing 8 men & 2 trucks. ****************** agreed and the crew was dispatched. Upon the crew's arrival @ 9:15am it was impossible to provide ****************** with an estimate of how long this move would take and/or to estimate how much packing materials would be necessary. We could not ********** unboxed dishes, clothing, utensils, knick knacks, etc. in our trucks nor cabinets filled with unboxed items creating further breakage and damages. This was a time consuming move due to opening up furniture doors and drawers and picking out what was not broken and discarding what was.Once **********************, crew lead, had a better grip on the job he contacted our Operations manager (4 hours into the job- about 1 to 1:30pm) and provided him with an estimated finish time of 9:30pm. Unfortunately, neither our Operations manager nor ********************** sister, **** (who was onsite) could reach ****************** to advise him of the estimated stop time due to ****************** having office phone issues. Nevertheless, ********************** sister, ****, was informed.In closing, packing and moving a 5 bedroom home under normal circumstance is expensive and takes 2 days. Unfortunately, ****************** was not aware of the actual reality of the situation which in turn made us unaware and ill prepared to take care of his request on day 1. It's unfortunate an estimate could not be provided right away due to the conditions of the situation. We had to get things organized and packed. ****************** needs to remember that we did not create the situation and/or conditions. Luckily we were able to move ********************** mom in the worst situation and conditions all in one day.
