Complainant ************************ Claim # **-39L8-56F My email address: ******************** Complaint Against: JTR Roofing Location: *****************************************. *********, ** ***** Subject: Hail Damage Repair On 7/14/20**, a permit was placed on Rosenblooms door allowing for the *********** of the work pursuant to the ******************** regulations and/or legal authorization to begin work.Within days after the work was completed ********** noticed laziness in workmanship that consisted of nails and shingles on the floor of the (closed doors) water leaking into the garage below of where one of the vents was placed, areas on the garage and over the front door of the homes having lumps. ********** has pictures of all of this if needed for exhibits. The workers w/o my consent plugged some kind of generator into my outside electrical outlets w/o my consent. This electrical usage was not in the contract and/or advised of such use in the ****MOU. On 7/21/20**, ********** noticed on the permit that was pulled from the city had items checked as being repaired that did not have any real work completed such as siding and house wrap. After ********** advised the city inspector (Herb-LNU) of the irregularities, the inspector voided the permit, and advised ********** to direct JTR staff to apply for another permit. Exhibit will be provided if needed. **********, because of no legal permit (at the time of this complaint) advised JTR officials that no remedial action shall be taken until a new permit is pulled pursuant to the City of ****************** Code Enforcement regulation. JTR official argued the need for such a newly issued permit with **********, saying that it was not needed and is demanding payment before all work in completed in violation of agreement. JTR must pull permit to continue work pursuant to code regulation. JTR is becoming vitriolic because ********** finds sloppy work and contacted inspector.

Yes. I am the one filing the complaint on my behalf.  Today, *** (housing inspector supervisor says JTR staff pulled the wrong permit for work never done.  JTR blames it on the city.  This gives the appearance that siding and other issues were replaced causing me harm in the future.

The question is if JTR will have remaining work completed after one of its employees seemed upset due to my having the audacity to investigate the misleading issue?

       Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

The owner came out w/o delay and addressed all issues at this time.  At this time matters are resolved.  The owner did not try to cover up issues.  The owner identified and corrected issues w/o delay.  GOOD SERVICE.

However, I hope and postulate the same response should issues arise moving forward as the materials settle etc?   .
