  Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:

  Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Consent Order
  

  On August 9, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business's application for a residential building contractor license would be denied under MN Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(2)(9); 326B.095; 326B.84 (1)(14)(15) (2022) and Minn. R. 2891.0040, subp. 1A (2021). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to only transact business in their licensed name of NR Lindsey Construction LLC; promptly respond with complete and accurate information to DLI; remain law abiding and if found guilty of a felony or misdemeanor related to residential building contractor, to notify DLI within 10 days. The business also agreed to notify DLI within 15 days if they are found to be a judgement debtor and to satisfy or appeal any judgments based on their residential building contractor work within 30 days of the judgement.  The business was also assessed a $5000.00 fine, with the full balance stayed  on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
